The list of good authors Andre Drummond of the Chicago team has averaged 12. in his last 6 starts8 points, 178 rebounds and 17 caps.
Looking at the schedule, we're in for an interesting week 12 as we have two teams (Nets and Cavaliers) taking on the rare one-game one-game and a two-game club (the 76ers). There are slightly more fixtures for three games than there are for four, but we still have plenty of players with the most options to choose from.
Each week, we'll highlight a pair of starting candidates for your dream lineup that can be the toughest decision of the week, with the focus often on starting or roster 50% players in the Yahoo league or less. We also typically look at players who play four games a week to maximise production opportunities.
Again, we will focus on a bench candidate in each position, not usually considering a place on the bench, and the focus will usually be on players who have fewer opportunities to play in the coming week.
Teams with four games: Boston Celtics, Charlotte Hornets, Chicago Bulls, Houston Rockets, Indiana Pacers, Los Angeles Clippers, Miami Heat, Milwaukee Bucks, Minnesota Timberwolves, Oklahoma City Thunder, Portland Trail Blazers, Sacramento Kings, Utah Jazz.
Teams that play three games: Atlanta Hawks, Dallas Mavericks, Denver Nuggets, Detroit Pistons, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, Memphis Grizzlies, New Orleans Pelicans, New York Knicks, Orlando Magic, Phoenix Suns, San Antonio Spurs, Toronto Raptors, Washington Wizards.
Team with two games: Philadelphia 76ers.
Teams for one game: Brooklyn Nets, Cleveland Cavaliers.
Without further ado, let's take a look at some of the tougher starts to week 12 with a sit-down decision:
Guardsman. Started with: Malik Monk, Kings
47% start-up rate
Whenever the Kings' schedule is full, Monk is a consideration, as the experienced guard can always play excellent multi-game heat off the bench and enhance your roster in several different categories along the way. There is still some fluctuation in Monk's performances, but he's locked in a solid second team role that would normally allow him at least playing time in his 20s. Monk has averaged 28 games per game in his last six games5 minutes, get 177 points (50 from the field.)7%, including a three-point shooting percentage of .3 assists and 28 rebounds. The sample also includes scores of 27 and 37 points, which illustrate Munch's smash performance when his hand is hot.
Starter: Malcolm Brogdon, Trail Blazers.
44% launch rate
Brogdon currently trains on the Trail Blazers' second team, while Scott Henderson is in charge of starting point guard, but like Monk, Brogdon is still capable of playing a starter-quality performance off the bench. The veteran ended the Trail Blazers' schedule with an 18-point finish in 22 minutes against the Nets on Sunday after several turnovers in Week 11, while he finished 204 points (51.)4%)。In the five games he started as a starter, he was at 32Get 4 in 7 minutes2 assists, 40 rebounds and 10 steals (shooting percentage (548%)) Brogdon is also shooting over 40 from three-point range this season0%, in addition to scoring contributions, he can be a reliable assist**.
Also consider: Marcus Smart, Grizzlies (51% starting rate).
Sitting: Spencer Dinwiddie, Nets.
51% start-up rate.
The Nets will have three players on the SIT recommendation list this week, starting with Dinwiddie, thanks in large part to the schedule of one game in Brooklyn. Regardless, Dinwiddie's recent performances have been quite fungible, as he has scored in single digits four times in the last nine games, including one gap, while he has shot a paltry 34 from the field in the entire sample1%。With his chances few and far between this week, letting Dinwiddie off the field was an easy decision.
Striker. Starter: Duncan Robinson, Heat.
34% initiation rate
Jimmy Butler remains sidelined with a foot injury and Caleb Martin is also out for the sixth straight time with an ankle injury, and the Heat will play in four games against the Rockets in Week 12 on Monday, helping to bolster Robinson. The sharpshooter has been particularly impressive on the flanks since the start of December, averaging 13. per game in his last 16 matches9 points (three-point shooting percentage.)5 assists and 27 rebounds. Robinson's contributions to shooting are well known, but it's also worth noting that he averaged a career-high 3. assists per game1 time and has scored 4 or more points in 10 of 33 games.
Starter: Naz Reed, Timberwolves.
42% initiation rate
Reed has already been featured in this article this season as he made a solid contribution off the bench as he returned with the Timberwolves during a busy week. The experienced big man averages 4Seven three-pointers and a career-high 398% and 12 points per game7 points, continuing to set a new career high. Reed is still a reliable rebounder, and although he's scored more single-digit points in recent games than ideal, he's still been very efficient during that period, shooting 506%, including a three-point shooting percentage of 422%。
Also consider: Simone Fontecchio, Jazz (24% list rate).
Sitting: Cameron Johnson, Nets.
62% start-up rate.
Johnson has been doing well overall this year, shooting over 40 three-point range for the third straight season0%, but with the Nets limited to one game, he had little chance to show his skills in Week 12. With a sparse schedule, it makes sense to look elsewhere for striker candidates, especially since Johnson offers strong but far from irreplaceable numbers.
Center starters: Andre Drummond, Bulls
48% start-up rate
Drummond has been a fantastic darling in the six games that replaced the ailing Nikola Vucevich, with several of his classic performances reminiscent of his glory days at Motown, averaging 128 points, 178 rebounds, 17 steals and 17 caps. Every game during this period. Vucevic returned to action on Friday but came off the bench while Drummond still played the full 23 minutes against the Hornets. Vucevic is certainly likely to continue his comeback for at least one game in Monday night's rematch with Charlotte, but even as he regains his first-team role, Drummond has proven his ability to deliver strong minute-by-minute scoring and rebounding stats as a player. He has been a member of the second team several times this season.
Starter: Nick Richards, Hornets.
29% initiation rate
Mark Williams remains out of Monday's four-game game for the Hornets with a back injury, a development that will keep Richards in a starting role, having occupied the starting spot for 13 consecutive games. In this sample, Richards averaged 29. over 9 minutes per game1 point, 85 rebounds, 12 assists and 12 blocks, four double-doubles in the process. With Williams' absence likely to continue into week 12, Richards is a very viable candidate for center forward.
Also consider: Isaiah Hartenstein, Knicks (34% start).
Sitting: Nick Claxton, Nets.
72% start-up rate
Claxton will only get one chance to play next week, and it comes at an unfortunate time considering he's recorded six double-doubles in his last seven games, including three in a row. Still, unless you're stretched thin at the center position and are in desperate need of a boost in the rebounding and blocks categories, you'd better look for a big man with more opportunities next week.
