BQB certification is a patent certification for Bluetooth products, also known as Bluetooth qualification certification. It involves all the useful Bluetooth technology for our Bluetooth products. Because Bluetooth is now a patented technology, as long as the product uses Bluetooth technology, it should have relevant qualifications.
The Bluetooth Certification Test Facility (BQTF) is officially accredited by the BQRB to complete the "Class A" Bluetooth certification conformance test identification in the Test Instance Reference List (TCRL). The authoritative description of the BQTF role is in the Bluetooth Authentication Procedure Reference Document (PRD)43.Section 3. Members can use BQTF directly for testing services. Often, BQTF can also provide additional Bluetooth testing services.
Competence:
1. RF conformance testing, including RF, baseband and physical test specifications.
2. Protocol and profile conformance testing, including baseband, link management, L2CAP and profile conformance test specifications.
For details about the bqtf conformance testing capability, see the Test Instance Status and Capability page. Information about BQTF certification processing and criteria can be found on the BQTF Applicants page.
Qualification Authorization:
The task of the Bluetooth Technical Assessor (BTA) is to evaluate the technical capabilities of the test bodies assigned to Bluetooth conformance testing and later authorized by Bluetooth SIG as Bluetooth Certified Test Equipment (BQTF) on behalf of the Bluetooth Certification Evaluation Board (BQRB).
The steps and criteria to become an authorized BTA are described on the BTA application page.
2. What items are included in BQB certification testing?
1. Radio frequency (RF) compliance test;
2. Protocol consistency test;
3. Profile compatibility test
4. Declaration of Conformity;
5. Review of relevant technical documents.
3. How much does BQB certification generally cost?
Bluetooth BQB certification fee (from January 1, 2022, all official Bluetooth fees will be increased by 20%)
The Bluetooth BQB certification fee consists of two parts: (1) DID fee (charged by the Bluetooth Association);(2) Testing fee and application fee (charged by the testing laboratory);
For specific fee certification details, please find Lanya consultants (*** below is your most detailed and accurate**.)
Fourth, BQB Bluetooth certification cycle and samples:
1.Certification period: 1-2 weeks;
2.Number of samples: 2 finished products, 2 engineering prototypes (enter BQB test mode).
Special reminder:
BQB test mode means that classic Bluetooth is to enter UTM signaling mode (under test mode).
For low power consumption, BLE needs to enter DTM mode (Direct Test Mode).
If the sample is dual-mode, the test sample needs to provide two fixed-frequency states.
