Fast Technology reported on December 24 that recently, Counterpoint Research, a market research agency, released the best-selling list of smartphones in eight countries around the world in October this year, including the United States, China, India, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, South Korea, and Japan.
The data shows that among these eight countries, except for South Korea, the top iPhone of Apple is the first place.
In the U.S., the iPhone 15 Pro Max holds the top spot with a share of 24, followed by the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15, iPhone 14 and Samsung's low-to-mid-range Galaxy A14.
In China, the iPhone 15 Pro Max is in first place with a 5% share, followed by the Huawei Mate 60 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro with a 4% share, followed by the Honor X50 and iPhone 15 respectively.
In India, the iPhone 14 ranks first with a 5% share, followed by domestic manufacturers such as Vivo T2X, Redmi 12, Realme C53 and Redmi A2.
In Germany, the iPhone 15 is in first place with a 12% share, followed by the iPhone 14, iPhone 15 Pro MA, iPhone 15 Pro and Samsung's flagship Galaxy S23.
In the UK, the top five are all iPhone models, with the iPhone 15 Pro Max in first place with an 11% share, followed by the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
In France, the iPhone 15 Pro occupies the first position with an 11% share, followed by the Samsung Galaxy S23, iPhone 15, iPhone 14 and Samsung Galaxy S23+.
In South Korea, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 overtook the iPhone 15 Pro Max for first place with a 12% share, which is also the only non-Apple model in eight countries to rank first.
In Japan, the same iPhone models occupy the top five, which are iPhone 14, iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 13 and iPhone SE 2022.
Overall, Apple and Samsung are still the world's mobile phone dominants, occupying a relatively high market share in most major countries.
