It has been 15 years since the establishment of the Shanghai Five-Star Gerontology Xi Team" photography team. Recently, they held an exhibition of their photographic achievements at the Longbridge Community Cultural Center to exchange ideas with each other. Portfolios were also printed in the streets and schools to share with the community the results of the photography team.
As the "ace team" of the Changqiao Street Community (Senior) School, the members will get together every week to learn Xi theoretical knowledge and practical skills of photography, and share their shooting experience and experience with each other. In addition to the regular Xi and practice, they will also organize various photography activities, go into parks, botanical gardens and other places to capture beautiful moments with their lenses.
After 15 years of perseverance, the Changqiao Street Community (Elderly) School provided a Xi place and professional equipment for the photography team, and also invited Huabiao artist Xue Hongbin to serve as a part-time teacher of the photography course. In the classroom, Xue Hongbin talked about light and shadow, proportion, and composition, and taught the photography skills he had honed over decades to the Xi in simple language, which was well received by the team members.
