Ultrasonic flaw detectorCombining the R-Scan handheld dry-coupled scanner with the SWIFT ultrasonic data acquisition instrument to form a battery-powered, portable ultrasonic inspection system that is ideal for NDT applications from 50mm pipe diameter to flat plate, and is widely used for wall thickness and corrosion inspection.

Ultrasonic flaw detector probe.

Silverwing's unique dry-coupled ultrasonic wheel probe is suitable for remote inspection and inspection of harsh petrochemical environments, without the need for couplant or constant water supply. The probe is a dual element 5MHz ultrasonic probe with a unique rolling probe surface capable of measuring 2Material thickness from 5mm to 100mm.

Ultrasonic flaw detector R-ScanScan head.

The R-Scan scan head is equipped with an encoder that provides accurate position information during the inspection. The ZUI miniaturized encoder helps the magnetic wheel avoid slippage and helps when scanning images vertically.

Floating tracking gates.

A unique feature of this system is the floating and tracking doors. The smart gate allows tolerances in the initial setup and provides the most accurate inspection. The gate moves up and down and left and right with the signal, reducing the possibility of incorrect or lost data, resulting in the most reliable and complete B-scan inspection data set.

High probability of detection (pod).

Compared to traditional point thickness measurements, R-Scan scans increase the likelihood of detecting corrosion by continuously recording thickness measurements as the scan head moves over the inspection surface. Captured thickness information is displayed as an A-scan trace, a digital thickness measurement, an amplitude B-scan, or an easy-to-understand thickness profile.

Flexibility. The R-Scan is the ideal all-round tool for inspecting tanks and pipelines. It can be used with diameters from 50mm to material thicknesses of 25mm to 100mm flat surfaces on various parts.

Data collectors.

The data collector swift has a 26The large 4 cm non-reflective touch screen with a sturdy magnesium alloy shell and IP65 protection level effectively protects the instrument from dust and water. Equipped with a 3mm (1 8 inches) tempered glass display, it can be used in harsh environmental conditions. The instrument comes with two lithium-ion hot-swappable batteries and can work all day.

Data acquisition software.

Software controls Scorpion2 and R scanning. The software is intuitive and easy to use, with several advanced features to produce high-quality ultrasonic inspection data. The operator is guided through a simple process, entering the inspection details and then making the ultrasonic setup. It can be adjusted using the collector's touch screen or hard buttons.

Data collection and analysis.

Real-time A-scan and B-scan data are displayed during the scan. Once the scan is complete, the operator can analyze the results or simply save the scan and proceed to the next scan. Scan analysis is made simple with active A-scan and B-scan displays, placing the cursor over any part of the B-scan window to display the A-scan trajectory and thickness measurements for that particular location. An adjustable threshold indicator can be displayed on the profile view to help identify reportable defects at a glance. The full-amplitude view helps characterize wall losses, allowing for the most detailed analysis and accurate corrosion assessment.

The inspection report is generated.
