On December 14th, Huawei's Yu Chengdong announced the interior details of the M9 on Weibo, this SUV achieves an MPV-like flat floor, equipped with six-seat first-class experience seats, triple screen + rear smart screen and other luxury configurations. It is worth noting that the rear row of the M9 is not equipped with a screen, but uses laser projection to bring a new viewing experience to passengers. The new car also has a new color of "Danxia Orange", which is eye-catching.
As a large SUV, the M9 adopts the new design language of "Kunpeng Spreading Wings", highlighting the atmosphere and luxury temperament. It has Huawei Xpixel smart lights, which can not only project various text, patterns and even animation effects, but also display a variety of patterns when the vehicle is stationary, enhancing the interaction between cars and people. There is little difference between the pure electric version and the extended range version, which is mainly reflected in the front surround ventilation holes.
The body lines of the M9 tend to be straight, providing good headroom in the car. The front and rear side fenders protrude slightly from the body, giving it a muscular feel. The addition of concealed door handles and a new style of low-drag wheels results in a drag coefficient of 026cd。The length, width and height of the new car are 5230 1999 1800mm, the wheelbase is 3110mm, and the tire specifications are 265 40 R22 and 285 40 R22.
The rear shape is wide and thick, and the rear adopts a large number of horizontal design lines to enhance the visual width. The continuous taillight shape creates a layered look, and the chrome rear underguard brings a youthful effect.
In terms of power, the M9 will be available in two versions: extended range and pure electric. The pure electric version of the drive motor is rated at 62 kW and 88 kW, with a peak power of 160 kW and 230 kW, respectively. The range-extender hybrid version uses the H15RT 15T engine with a maximum power of 112kW. Paired with this is dual motors with a maximum power of 165kW and 200kW respectively. The battery comes from the ternary lithium battery of CATL.
As a luxury large SUV, the M9 will undoubtedly become the focus of the market with its unique design, rich configuration and strong power performance. We look forward to its debut at Huawei's winter all-scenario press conference, and believe that it will bring a new driving experience to consumers.
