—、German HBM column load cellInstallation precautions.

1. Please be careful with the load cell!

2. Load cells are precision sensors, so the accuracy achievable depends largely on the correct assembly!

3. Use a suitable lifting device to install a weighing device!

4. Do not overload the load cell, even temporarily (e.g., unevenly distributed support loads)!

5. When carrying out calibration work that may damage the load cell, use a contour prosthesis!

6. Make sure that the point load is applied in the measurement direction of the load cell. Use a spherical thrust plate with a sufficient radius (HBM attachment).

7. Avoid lateral forces and moments.

8. According to the actual design, provide lifting protection devices and limiters!

9. Make the force introduction point of the load cell at the same level. For this, the installation accessory includes a spacer!

10. To protect the load cell from damage, pay attention to the following points:

Unilateral thermal radiation.

The impact of subsequent welding work.

Major temperature changes!

2. Preparation for assembly of German HBM column load cell.

1. The surface or foundation of the site must be horizontal and horizontally aligned.

2. The contact area (load cell baseplate) must meet special requirements (e.g. coefficient of thermal expansion 11 10-6 K).

3. In order to ensure normal function, please always use the original German HBM substrate.

3. Precautions for the layout of cables for German HBM column load cells.

When routing the connecting cables of the load cell, excessive humidity may cause condensation to drip downward, and this condensation must not enter the load cell in any way. In the connection area at the end of the cable, the user must ensure that no moisture enters the open cable.

In addition, there are a few things to keep in mind:

1. The wiring of the cable must ensure that the outer sheath is prevented from being damaged due to friction and/or self-movement in daily operation.

2. The load cell is designed with four-wire technology; Shortening of the cable is not allowed.

3. In order to maintain full accuracy, the cable extension should adopt six-wire technology.

4. The cable is suitable for fixed wiring and should not be bent. The minimum laying radius should not be less than 300 mm. Tensile strain and twisting of the cable during and after installation are not permitted.
