Kick off Xi Junsheng wings, a new student professional guidance and sharing meeting

The "Professional +" Guidance Lecture for Freshmen of the School of Culture and Media was successfully held. This event invited 8 outstanding seniors to share their experience from the eight aspects of "professional + interpersonal relationship, social practice, writing, career planning, practical Xi job search, minor Xi, competition planning, and self-confidence", which was presided over by Li Jiahe, director of the Academic Practice Department.

The first is Li Zhenyin from Advertising 21, who introduced the courses and special activities of the major, and encouraged the first-year students to diverge their thinking and exercise their new literacy on the basis of mastering professional knowledge. For the common interpersonal problems of new students, she combines her own experience and advocates kindness and more communication. In terms of social practice, she encourages everyone to actively participate and take it seriously.

The second is Zou Xiangyi from Journalism 20, who combined her own experience to summarize a comprehensive literature search method and writing methodAfter comparing the differences between journals and degrees in detail, we interpret the characteristics of various types of research from three different research methods: exploratory, descriptive and explanatory, which will be helpful to new students in writing.

The third place was Tang Xinran from Visual Communication Design 21, who shared the competition, related design tools and books for the visual communication major, and emphasized the importance of Xi grades in the first semester. For professional Xi, she gave her own "Xi learning strategy", to think more and communicate more with teachers.

The fourth speaker was Yuan Jiahang from Advertising 20. As for the issue of Xi Xi employment, she divided it into two parts: career planning and practical job search. She told her classmates that they need to know exactly what they want first. She emphasized that how to find the right direction for yourself, continuous attempts are particularly important, everyone needs to dig deep into themselves, review and reflect in a timely manner, and at the same time maintain a stable attitude and optimistic attitude.

The fifth speaker was Zhang Sensheng from Calligraphy 21, who analyzed the training program of calligraphy major and the selection of professional tutors. He emphasized that the Xi of calligraphy should pay equal attention to theory and practice, and hoped that everyone could become compound talents and create more possibilities. He also emphasized the importance of daily accumulation, and the need to communicate more with teachers while turning fragmented language into logical discourse.

The sixth place is Lin Chunling from Cultural Industry Management 21, she first analyzed the motivation of learning Xi to the new students, told the students: "interest is the best motivation to learn Xi", and told everyone their own memory method - to memorize on the basis of understanding. In addition, she introduced the minor programs such as finance in detail, analyzed the role of the minor and the corresponding difficulties, and reminded the students to be clear about their goals, choose carefully, maintain self-discipline and initiative, and persevere.

The seventh place is Chen Zhengfan from Chinese Language and Literature 20, who summarized his personal experience and advocated giving priority to creativity and quality. For changing majors, he reminded students to choose carefully, pointing out that the exploration of subject interests takes time to precipitate. In terms of writing, he suggested focusing on the combination of multiple disciplines to overcome difficulties. In the end, he told the students to make life meaningful, and the way out will naturally emerge in front of them.

Eighth place went to Ekdam, from Advertising 22, who spoke honestly about how to boost her self-confidence. She believes that self-confidence is the secret to enhancing self-worth, reducing anxiety, improving communication skills and decision-making, and suggests that we should rationally obtain self-awareness from the outside world, to fill the heart, neither humble nor arrogant. She also emphasized the need to have the courage to change, and to find the value of life in the process of continuous self-improvement.
