Kinmen explores the truth, don't believe fiction, pure and true Kinmen reveals the secret
Kinmen on the west entrance of Taiwan, with its long history and cultural heritage, and its unique regional characteristics, has become a beautiful landscape.
Today, I am honored to be able to visit Kinmen for a half-moon and share my personal experience with you to deepen your understanding of this magical and fascinating land.
First of all, allow me to give you an overview of the geography and history of Kinmen. Kinmen Island has 12 large and small islands, covering an area of more than 150 square kilometers and more than 130,000 residents.
The politics, economy and culture of Kinmen County are all centered on Kinmen Island, and Kinmen County is second only to Lieyu Island. Kinmen residents are very friendly to mainland tourists, speaking Taiwanese and Chinese, so that people from the mainland can easily adapt to the environment here.
This trip to Kinmen made me deeply feel the charm of this place. Kinmen Island has a lot of pristine preserved places, the streets are very narrow, there is barren land everywhere, there are street lights everywhere, and there are some old billboards, which are full of an ancient atmosphere.
In this small town, the buildings are also unique, most of them are typical Fujian houses, which are completely different from the modern buildings in the city. It is not only a long history and cultural landscape of Kinmen, but also a place where many photographers and film and television producers compete to shoot.
The environment in Kinmen is also very good, and the city and countryside are clean and tidy. This is due to the environmental protection and health awareness of the Golden Gate Special Administrative Region.
However, because Kinmen lacks natural resources, many goods have to be imported from Xiamen, so the consumption level of the locals is relatively high. However, the standard of consumption in Kinmen is still quite low, especially for tourists, and it is still a very good value for money.
After coming to Lieyu Island, I felt a completely different feeling from Kinmen Island. The houses and landforms of Lieyu Island are similar to those of Kinmen Island, but the inhabitants inside are very sparse, with a total of more than 11,000 people.
Although Lieyu Island also has a lot of scenic spots, such as beaches, hot springs, historic sites, etc., it is still a lot worse than Kinmen Island. The people on Lieyu Island are very calm and comfortable, and people can't help but want to sigh, life is really good.
On this trip to Kinmen, I also tasted a lot of local snacks. Even though the prices at this restaurant are cheaper, the meals are still delicious.
If you want to try Kinmen's specialties, it is enough for about 50 yuan in an ordinary restaurant. Also, be sure to go to Kinmen's Night Market Street, where there are many food stalls and night restaurants, and a variety of delicious food will make your mouth water.
Kinmen is not only delicious, but also a good living environment. They range from cheap hotels to high-end hotels, and the prices are reasonable. If you're looking for a taste of the area, stay in one of the area's small inns or farm stays.
The family hotels and farmhouses that live here are not only cheap, but also allow you to feel the local customs more deeply.
This trip to Kinmen also taught me a lot of local customs. For example, every Mid-Autumn Festival, the people of Kinmen hold large-scale celebrations, which include dragon dances, lion dances, moon viewing, and eating moon cakes.
In addition, the folk customs of Kinmen are also very strong, with traditional dramas, songs and dances with the flavor of southern Fujian. The folk customs and folk customs here not only show the unique customs of Kinmen, but also make people appreciate the profound heritage of Chinese tradition.
All in all, the trip to Kinmen was impressive. It's a beautiful island with a rich history and people, a welcoming people, and a variety of delicious food just waiting to be discovered.
If you want to feel the completely different living conditions of Taiwan's small island and the mainland, Kinmen must be a must-visit.
