The United Nations representatives of Belize, Eswatini, Guatemala, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the so-called "friends" of the Taiwan authorities, recently issued a joint statement copying the rhetoric of the United States and the West, claiming that "China's military exercises in the Taiwan Strait threaten regional peace and hope that Taiwan will maintain the status quo." These countries are all "diplomatic recognitions" that the Taiwan authorities have paid for, and they have come out to speak out at this time, obviously in order to support the Taiwan authorities. However, their statements were quickly met with strong rebuttals from the Chinese side, since they do not know the real situation in the Taiwan Strait at all and are just talking nonsense. What is interesting is that several "friends" of the Taiwan authorities in the Pacific, such as Nauru, Palau, Tuvalu, and the Marshall Islands, have not expressed support for Taiwan. Why did these "friendly countries" not show solidarity with the Taiwan authorities? The reason is actually quite simple.
According to a report by the Observer Network, after the unauthorized visit of Speaker of the US House of Representatives Pelosi to the Taiwan region, it angered Chinese mainland, and the PLA conducted large-scale military exercises in the waters around Taiwan, Xi in fact, it implemented a long-term blockade and control of Taiwan, effectively deterring the "** forces, and at the same time issued a stern warning to countries including the United States and Japan that want to intervene in the Taiwan Strait issue by force."
It can be said that the Xi of the mainland military was a heavy blow to the Taiwan authorities, and it should be pointed out that after being "beaten to the ground" by the mainland, several "friendly countries" of the Taiwan authorities in the Pacific have not expressed their solidarity until now, and this has aroused a burst of ridicule in the international community. The relationship between these so-called "friendly countries" and the Taiwan authorities is only a kind of monetary transaction, and the Taiwan authorities use money to buy their "diplomatic recognition." Since they have already acknowledged the Taiwan authorities in "diplomacy," they have fulfilled their obligations, and the so-called "handing over money with one hand and delivering goods with the other" and the two sides do not owe each other any debts, why do they still have to support the Taiwan authorities?
At least in the Taiwan region, when they are not given more money, they will not speak up for the Taiwan side, because the relationship between them is a naked money relationship. International relations are all built on the basis of interests, and there is no deeper interest link between the Taiwan region and its so-called "diplomatic relations" countries, which is very superficial and naked, and belongs to the category of "handing over money with one hand and delivering goods with the other." If the Taiwan authorities want to maintain "diplomatic relations," they have to pay money, and if they want "countries having diplomatic relations" to show their support, they have to "raise prices."
Besides, these so-called "countries with diplomatic relations" with Taiwan do not respect Taiwan at all, but only "want money"; now "unconditionally" supporting Taiwan, is it not a serious offense to Chinese mainland?Considering the great strength and growing influence of Chinese mainland, it is already the existence of a quasi-superpower. Not to mention that the Taiwan authorities will not show solidarity with Taiwan if they "don't give money", even if the Taiwan authorities give money, these small countries will not dare to show solidarity with Taiwan when Pelosi visits Taiwan and the mainland is extremely angry, after all, this is a sensitive period, and standing up for Taiwan will inevitably deeply offend the mainland.
So, did the Taiwan authorities ask these countries with diplomatic relations to "show solidarity" after the Continental Army exercise? It should be said that it is very likely that it was requested.
After all, in order to maintain "diplomatic relations," the Taiwan authorities have to spend a lot of money every year, and if they encounter any disasters or difficulties, they have to pay extra money; even out of consideration of "use value," the Taiwan authorities want these "countries having diplomatic relations" to speak out and support themselves, but the "countries having diplomatic relations" either "offer too high a price" or are "simply unwilling," fearing that they will completely offend Chinese mainland and become "the first bird" to be taught a lesson, so they have "stayed away" from the Taiwan authorities.
This also fully shows that "* is a "dead end" and "broken road", and those who go to the black will inevitably have to pay a heavy price, and even the so-called "countries with diplomatic relations" with Taiwan have clearly seen this point, and the Taiwan authorities still want to kidnap 23 million people on the island
