Liu Zhenyun s Children of the Age of Eating Melons met with Hungarian readers

People's Daily Online, Budapest, December 14 (Reporter Yu Limin) On December 14, local time, the seventh phase of the reading and sharing activity of the Hungarian "Chinese Literature Readers Club" was held in Budapest. The event was supported by the Chinese Writers Association and GEOPEN Publishing House, and co-sponsored by the Chinese Cultural Center in Budapest and the Hungarian "Chinese Literature Readers' Club".

Liu Zhenyun, a famous contemporary Chinese writer and winner of the Mao Dun Literature Award, recommended his new Hungarian version of his work to Hungarian readers through **. His confident attitude and humorous words were met with a positive response from the audience. Through the lens, Liu Zhenyun introduced his representative works such as "Chicken Feathers in One Place", "One Sentence Top 10,000 Sentences", "I Am Not Pan Jinlian", as well as his new work "Children in the Era of Eating Melons". He also briefly introduced the relationship between literary works and film and television works, as well as the experience of film and television of literary works.
