According to reports, Dalian Dandong Chamber of Commerce began preparations in 2015 and was officially established on December 6, 2018. At the beginning of its establishment, there were 50 member companies, and now it has developed to hundreds, involving industries including service industry, textile industry, mechanical processing, food production and processing industry, real estate industry, culture and media, agricultural science and technology, wholesale and retail industry, logistics and transportation industry, construction industry, decoration industry, financial industry, etc. Incomplete statistics show that the annual output value of all member enterprises of Dalian Dandong Chamber of Commerce exceeds 5 billion yuan, providing nearly 6,000 direct jobs. In recent years, the chamber of commerce has grown rapidly and won the title of "Four Good" Chamber of Commerce in Dalian in 2021-2022, and was rated as a four-A-level social organization by the Dalian Civil Affairs Bureau in 2022, and won the first "Trademark and Brand Guidance Station" of Dalian Chamber of Commerce.
Under the guidance and support of Dalian City and Dandong City and relevant departments, Dalian Dandong Chamber of Commerce has handed in an impressive report card in terms of organizational construction, innovation and development, giving back to the hometown, poverty alleviation, public welfare and charity, and helping Dalian's economic and social development.
