Many people may not understand how precious and rare the honor of the founding general is, and all the people who can be nominated are iron-blooded generals who have been honed from the rain of bullets, and why can this "storekeeper" receive special care?In fact, he is also a revolutionary who has experienced decades of war, and his name is Sulu. 
Su Lu, whose ancestral home is Changsha, Hunan, was born poor and was forced to leave home to earn a living at a young age. While doing hard labor, he began to come into contact with the influence of advanced revolutionary ideas, and was deeply aware of the suffering and expectations of the people, with the great ambition of serving the country and saving the people from fire and water, he embarked on the road of joining the army, and joined the Communist Party of China in 1927. In the ranks of the Red Army, Sulu fought bravely and fearlessly, charged at the forefront of the battle several times, made meritorious contributions again and again, and quickly grew from an ordinary soldier to a reusable general. 
Soon after the official outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War, the second cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party began to gradually unfold in various places. Among them, in order to jointly fight against the Japanese invaders, the Shanxi region selected outstanding generals and soldiers from each of the two armies to form a youth anti-enemy death squad. The soldiers who were able to join it were all heroes who had experienced a hundred battles and were not afraid of sacrifice, and Su Lu was recognized and trusted by the organization with his own efforts, and served as the captain of the three major teams of the first column at that time. The Battle of Guanjiayuan was a very important battle in the Battle of the Hundred Regiments, and the victory in this battle benefited from the strategic planning and correct leadership of the high-ranking generals, and it was inseparable from the good fighters that the advance troops had won in every possible way. In this battle, Sulu played the role of the vanguard, he was ordered to lead a company to snipe the enemy, successively defeated the enemy's more than a dozen charges, fierce battles to the most difficult time, he armed with a steel knife and the soldiers together to kill the enemy in close quarters. In the battle to liberate Taiyuan, as the deputy commander of the 184th Division, he still went into battle in person regardless of his safety, but unfortunately he was shot and lost an arm. 
After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Su Lu was appointed commander of the Shanxi Changzhi Military Division. He never healed from injuries left over from the war years, and after a few years, his health deteriorated. The organization took into account his health and specially allowed him to leave for rest and recuperation, but he was always reluctant to leave his post, and said that he could no longer bear the burden of a commander, and he could still do some work within his ability, and it would be good to look at the warehouse. In this way, Sulu, who was a high-ranking general in the army, became an ordnance warehouse manager. 
From this point of view, it is no accident that Sulu was awarded the rank of major general, which is the greatest encouragement and affirmation of his revolutionary achievements. After that, he returned to the Shanxi Military Region to continue his work until 1975, when he officially retired, and unfortunately, he died the following year at the age of 74. It can be seen that this old revolutionary has dedicated all his energy and painstaking efforts to the motherland and the people, until he can no longer support it, and pays tribute to the old general!
