Since the application of the project in 2020, the project results have been widely used in the Zhejiang branch of China Datang Group, including Tangyun, Tangjing, Dayu, Datu and other photovoltaic power stations, with a grid-connected capacity of 404 MW and a cumulative power generation of 6120,000 kWh. At present, the project has won 8 invention patents and 18 utility model patents.

According to the project R&D personnel, although the market and policies are very close to offshore photovoltaics, the reality is that offshore photovoltaics are still in the initial stage of development, and key technologies and common technologies are the main bottlenecks restricting its large-scale and industrial development. Therefore, the fruitful results of this project are of great practical significance to the exploration of offshore photovoltaics, and experts at home and abroad have high expectations for the results of this project.
The offshore environment has the characteristics of high temperature, high humidity, high corrosion and strong stress, which puts forward higher requirements for the pressure-bearing, anti-aging and corrosion performance of the components.
