After minimalizing my savings, I reduced my housework by 80 .

My greatest wish is to be a lazy person.

But I also like a clean and tidy environment, which seems a bit contradictory.

To that end, I invented a way to buy less things, hold fewer things, and maintain a clean space in a minimalist way.

1. Some time ago, a friend complained to me: There is too much dust in Guangzhou. I just finished wiping it today, and tomorrow it will fall another layer. Every time I wipe it, I want to throw everything away. Especially those small ornaments, I really want to throw them away once I wipe them.

Because of chasing stars, my friends bought a lot of celebrity figures.

It's really not fun to rub these gadgets, and the work is endless.

In comparison, I have a lot less torture in this regard.

Because I didn't buy this type of knick-knack.

Every time I see it in the store, I think it's cute, but when I think of the mismatched ** and the pain of wiping the dust in the future, I have no desire to buy it back.

Or stay in the store and let someone else wipe the ashes, I'll appreciate it.

2. When I rented a house before, the bed bought by the landlord was with storage function.

Although it can increase storage space, the bottom of the bed is very prone to dirt accumulation, which is difficult to clean.

Every night when I go to bed and think of lying on top of a pile of dust, I can't help but feel a little depressed.

Later, when I moved to my own house, I deliberately bought a bed with a simple structure and no storage function.

Reducing storage space can also turn around buying less and stocking up less.

At the same time, cleaning is also convenient.

Every time you change bedding, wipe the edge of the bed with a cotton cloth.

The bottom of the bed is handed over to the sweeping robot to vacuum and mop regularly.

I finally felt like I was lying in a clean bed.

3. The bed can be simplified, and so can the curtains.

After moving to my own house, I first changed the curtains in my bedroom, and then I slowly thought about changing the curtains in the living room and second bedroom.

Because I didn't rush to do it, it gave me time to brew inspiration.

My husband's work is related to the home furnishing industry, so he wants to buy a matching curtain + white curtain pattern like most people.

But I don't think it's necessary to be so heavy, and it's troublesome to clean and disassemble every time.

Considering that there was no need for blackout in the second bedroom and living room, I removed the heavy curtains and used only white curtains for more privacy.

It's enough to block out the sun and protect privacy.

It not only saves money, but also saves the trouble of cleaning and taking care of it in the future.

After all, it is quite tiring to disassemble and assemble curtains.

4. Simplify, the best way is to buy less.

My husband and I don't have many shoes, two pairs of sneakers per person, and the total is only 4 pairs.

So, even if the hallway is a little small, only 50 centimeters wide, it is enough for me to put a shoe cabinet that is enough.

And the shoe cabinet is small, so it is easy to clean.

It doesn't take 2 minutes to wipe it with a rag.

5. We don't just buy less shoes, we rarely buy clothes.

My husband and I don't have much clothes.

Therefore, all the clothes of the season can be hung up, saving the trouble of folding clothes.

In fact, folding clothes is not the most annoying, the annoying thing is that after folding today, it will be messy tomorrow.

We don't have that in our family.

6. In general, my house can be kept clean and tidy, not because I am diligent.

Mainly because of buying less and holding less, simplifying the cleaning process and reducing the burden of housework.

So, I now have a firm principle when buying things - items that will increase the amount of housework, try not to buy; If you must buy it, see if you can streamline the routine process before buying.

Free your hands, cut down on chores, and give yourself more free time.
