Since the beginning of this year, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs has promoted the establishment of a database of agricultural machinery and equipment industries and agricultural machinery enterprises with an output value of hundreds of millions of yuan. Steadily implement the special project of hilly agricultural machinery and agricultural robots, and work with the Ministry of Finance to carry out pilot projects for the integration of R&D, manufacturing, promotion and application of agricultural machinery and equipment in 9 provinces. Actively promote the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the National Development and Reform Commission to increase the research and development of agricultural machinery and equipment. Nine new full-process mechanized scientific research bases, such as corn in southwest China and traditional Chinese medicine in East China, have been built to continuously improve R&D and innovation capabilities. Support Heilongjiang, Zhejiang, Yunnan-Guizhou Province, Jiangsu and Gansu to build a "large and one small" (large high-horsepower machinery and small machinery suitable for hilly and mountainous areas) agricultural machinery equipment promotion and application pilot area, select and build a new batch of 50 hilly and mountainous agricultural machinery equipment maturation application bases, provide performance optimization and verification demonstration platforms for agricultural machinery innovative products, and accelerate the industrialization process. Establish a regular communication mechanism with the departments of industry and information technology, development and reform, finance, science and technology, etc., and each department will focus on making up for shortcomings and implementing precise policies to form a joint work force. The provinces are closely linked, and 10 provinces such as Zhejiang, Anhui, Jiangsu, Shandong, and Inner Mongolia have successively issued relevant policy documents to strengthen the development of the agricultural machinery and equipment industry.
Up to now, the work of agricultural machinery and equipment to make up for shortcomings has achieved important phased results. The installation of Beidou terminal agricultural machinery has reached 2.2 million units nationwide, and the operation efficiency and accuracy have reached the international advanced level. The total number of plant protection drones exceeds 200,000, and the annual operating area exceeds 2.1 billion mu, which greatly improves the operation efficiency and realizes the reduction and efficiency of pesticides.
