On December 28, a suspected tap water poisoning incident occurred in Jinfeng Yipin Community, Yuci District, Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province, and hundreds of residents in the community vomited and diarrhea, dizziness and nausea (previously reported by Jimu News). On the afternoon of the 29th,The Yuci District Health and Sports Bureau issued a notice on this matter, saying that up to now, a total of 164 people have been admitted to the hospital, 6 people have been hospitalized for observation, and the rest have returned home. Jimu News previously reported that in a project called "Yanghao Street Community Jinfeng Yipinju......In the WeChat chat group, many owners counted the situation of people with vomiting and diarrhea in the form of solitaire. One of the residents wrote at Solitaire that all three members of his family had vomited, including a one-year-old baby with fever.
Ms. Zhang (pseudonym), the owner of the community, told the Jimu News reporter that her child vomited badly and has gone to the hospital for treatment.
The staff of the Jinzhong Municipal Health Commission told the Jimu News reporter that at noon on the 28th, the relevant departments have sent the drinking water samples of the community for testing, and the specific reasons need to be further investigated. After the incident, medical personnel have rushed to the community.
On the afternoon of December 29, the Health and Sports Bureau of Yuci District, Jinzhong, Shanxi Province issued a notice on this matter, saying that on the morning of December 28, it received a report from residents of Jinfeng Yipin Community that some residents had symptoms such as vomiting and diarrhea, and the bureau immediately reported to the city and district levels. At the municipal and district levels, departments such as health, disease control, housing and construction, urban management, public security, and sub-district offices were immediately organized to carry out on-site disposal, and quickly carried out environmental and tap water sampling and testing, epidemiological investigations, and opened up green channels for medical treatment.

After testing the drinking water samples of the community, the indicators meet the drinking water standards. At present, the public area of Jinfeng Yipin Community has been sanitized, the secondary water supply tank has been professionally cleaned, and medical personnel at the city and district levels continue to serve in the community.
