Hi everyone, I'm a child.
I don't know if you have encountered such a problem: when you see something you like, do you especially want to have it?
The previous childlike innocence was such a person. Anyone who sees favorite clothes, bags, shoes, cups, all kinds of tableware, and small household appliances ......I just want to buy it, and I will even find a famous reason to buy it back.
Later, I slowly realized that most of the things bought back were idle, which was really too wasteful.
After a few years of the epidemic, the economy is in a downturn, housing prices have plummeted, business has been sluggish, and various salary cuts and layoffs have often been staged.
The only thing that gives us a sense of security is money.
In a few days, 2024 will be ushered in, let's all love ourselves!
In this issue, Childlike sorted out 8 calm consumption. Now share it with everyone.
I hope that we will all try to downgrade consumption, and achieve rational consumption while maintaining a good quality of life.
1. Don't buy disposable products.
In the past, when I was young, I liked to buy things only for my eyes, and when I saw it at first sight, I bought it.
As for practicality? What is the quality?Didn't think about it.
So much so that when I bought it, I was either locked up in a black room, or after using it once or twice, I even threw it away without using it once, wasting a lot of money in vain.
In fact, trendy and fashionable things, which sound tall, are actually secondary products with heavy design and light weight.
Now, my consumption principle is, don't buy unless you just need it!
2. Don't buy snacks.
Childlike Innocence hardly buys snacks these days. In fact, snacks are just too addictive, and they are easy to gain weight, which is a lot of extra expenses.
Of course, if you have the occasional desire to eat something, you can buy a pizza or an egg roll.
But after each meal, I eat some apple to calm myself down.
Tell yourself: apples and other fruits are healthy, good for the body, and taste good. There's no need to eat those expensive snacks.
3. Don't buy **.
In the past two years of practicing minimalist life, I have not applied **, and I am not wasting a lot of time and energy on ineffective skin care.
For childlike innocence, in terms of skin care products, I only buy 4 basic pieces: facial cleanser, toner, essence, sunscreen, and winter + cream.
Personally, I think it's just a burden for me. It's just a matter of hydration and sunscreen every day, but it's just dispensable, so later, I simply cleaned it up from my life.
4. Don't buy items that are online celebrities.
Internet celebrity things, although very trendy, many people chase, but it is easy to become outdated, as little as half a year, as long as a year.
So, try to avoid wasting money on these things. It is unwise that instant gratification will eventually become dull.
The smart way is to think carefully about the real needs of your heart, and not be coerced by the waste of consumption!
5. Don't buy items with duplicate functions.
For example: soybean milk machine and wall breaker;Oven and airbox;Pressure cooker and pressure cooker ......The effects of these items are all close.
Reject these items with similar functions, just have one, and keep it simple.
6. Don't buy items that don't fit your style.
Whether it's for daily use or wear, choose what you like. Only if you like it, it is suitable for yourself.
Only those that suit you will feel that they are good items.
In my spare time, I read more books, watch documentaries, think more, slowly understand myself, and form my own unique style.
Share some books and documentaries about minimalist living:
Book: "One Day One House".
Breaking Away" and "Heart-pounding Life Finishing Magic".

Documentary: "The Secrets of British Consumption".

7. Do not buy items that exceed the value of the item itself.
In my opinion: item value = ** + time + space + energy.
When you want to buy a valuable thing, add these together to consider, weigh and compare, is it worth it?Then decide whether to buy or not to buy.
8. Don't buy cheap clothes on sale.
Cheap clothes are either either small or oversized, or of poor quality.
Maugham once said that your image must be ahead of your abilities, otherwise your abilities are likely to be drowned.
The clothes you wear on your body represent your personal appearance. Therefore, on some important occasions in life, we must pay attention to them.
Because when life meets good fortune, sometimes it lies in the little details. If the details are done, good luck will come.
Less is more, and the pursuit of the quantity of items is transformed into the quality of items.
If you want to buy and want to buy, you have to buy clothes of good quality and finesse. Not only do you have more living space, but you can also experience the joy of another way of life.
Thank you for reading this, what is your list of not buying?Feel free to share it with us!
I am a child. Minimalist life long-termist, the pursuit of less and more refined items, everything is not just needed, do not buy!
If you also like minimalist life, don't forget to pay attention to childlike innocence!
