The steps to set up the Dynamic Island function on the Apple 14 Pro are as follows:
Open your phone's Settings app.
Go to the "General" option and select "About This Mac".
Find the "Software Version" column and make sure you have iOS 16 installed. If not, follow the prompts to install and restart your phone.
Go to the Settings app again and select Control Center.
In the Control Center page, find the "In-App Access" column and set it to "On".
When you're done, exit the Settings app and you'll be able to use the Dynamic Island feature.
When the Dynamic Island feature is enabled, users can see an interactive area on the screen that displays icons and notifications for the currently running application. To view or reply to a notification, simply tap the icon or notification on the Dynamic Island. In addition, users can also open the Control Center by swiping up from the bottom of the screen, swiping down from the top of the screen to open the Notification Center, and long-pressing the Dynamic Island area to open the app switcher.
The Apple 14 Pro's Dynamic Island feature also supports Reachability mode, which is a one-handed operation mode. When the feature is enabled, the top half of the screen can be lowered so that it is within reach of your fingers, making it easier to operate with one hand. It should be noted that the one-handed operation mode on the iPhone in the past allowed users to double-tap the home button to lower the top of the screen, now there is no home button, and the new way to trigger the one-handed operation mode is to swipe down from the bottom of the screen.
