Huineng said, "The Dharma is in the world, and it is not separated from the world." "The reason why a person is human is that there is a process of pursuing Bodhi through worldly enlightenment. All the laws and appearances in this world have causes, and they are concluded in emptiness because of causes. The seemingly prosperous phases of the Dharma, "like a flame in a dream, like the moon in the water, like an image in a mirror" (Vimala Sutra), should not be obsessed with, nor should they be attached. Therefore, there is a saying in the Vimala Sutra that "there are no two births and births". This statement is more in line with the Chinese mentality. Nowadays, most people are doing this kind of practice. Only if we can do the business of joining the WTO with the mentality of being born and eliminate all kinds of interference, can we grasp the essence of things.

Although Yun Feng has not passed, he has a maturity that is rare among his peers. He has a peaceful heart, does not panic, paints and writes, is meticulous, and does not have a little impetuousness. It is rare to be able to paint with the mentality of serving the Buddha, maintain a quiet mentality, and "paint my own paintings from the ancients, why bother bowing my head and seeking the same group". His paintings of flowers and birds are mainly flowers, especially lotus flowers. We all know that the lotus flower "comes out of the mud without staining, and the ripples are clear but not demonic", and Buddhists often use the lotus flower as a symbol of Buddha nature. Yunfeng's use of lotus flowers as the theme of expression is based on the appreciation of the Buddha nature contained in the lotus flower. The titles of his paintings are also mostly based on the Buddhist language, such as "One Thought is Pure", "Born with the Heart", "Meditation is Always Present", "Buddha's Light", "Enlightenment of the Great Light" and so on. These works are often not to express the ten-mile lotus scene of "infinite blue lotus leaves", but to choose a part, with a microscopic perspective, to express the purity of lotus flowers and the green green of lotus leaves, so as to understand the realm of "smiling Buddha". What is rare about these works is that they are not bound by the subject matter and techniques, they do not show off and show off, but they just seriously express their understanding and understanding of the lotus. With the help of blending, he expressed the color of light and the shadow of flowers. The flowers under the light of the light show a little charm and delicateness, and at the same time show a few traces of firmness and high-spiritedness. The lotus in his eyes is not a lotus that satisfies the beauty of the human eye, but a lotus that is one of things and self, a lotus that combines Buddha nature, flower nature, and human nature. I remember that there is such a picture in the Dunhuang mural "Lotus Sutra Changes": a farmer is working in the field, and there are adults worshipping the top of the stupa on the side of the road, and a few children piling up sand into a pagoda next to him. At this time, a drizzle fell from the sky, moistening the farmland and wetting the pagoda. This picture implies the idea that "all plants and trees in the world are moistened by the same rain" and that all living beings are equal. It is said that "even children's play, gathering sand for pagodas, such as all people, have become Buddhas." A stupa made of sand for children is the same as a stupa built with elaborate carving, and the behavior of children worshipping the Buddha is the same as that of adults. The "equality of all beings" here is not only the equality of people and people, but also the equality of everything outside of people. So looking back at the "realm of selflessness" mentioned in Chinese painting, isn't it exactly such a state? That is, "I don't know what I am and what is something." This kind of realm is not something that ordinary people can achieve, so Wang Guowei said that the "realm of selflessness" is the place where heroic people can establish themselves. Of course, Yun Feng can't reach such a level yet. It is not easy for him to express some of his ideas with the help of paintings without being constrained by techniques and procedures.

Yun Feng's figure paintings embody the characteristics of the theme creation of ethnic minority art in the Academy of Fine Arts of ** University for Nationalities, and the characters in the picture are mainly based on the image of ethnic minorities. In the processing of the picture, the characters are often placed in the scenery of the ethnic group where they live, so as to highlight the national characteristics. These works reflect his solid skills in business layout, modeling treatment, and color control. In particular, in the expression of the background of the characters, many very characteristic expression methods are adopted, so that the picture presents the effect of not only the characteristics of traditional gongbi painting, but also the contemporary aesthetic characteristics. This expression is also reflected in his flower and bird paintings. This method of expression absorbs the traditional Gongbi painting technique of "using the brush to be very new and fine, and the ink is not visible, but it is dyed with light colors", and at the same time, a new treatment method is added. He himself said: "My painting technique is not as simple as traditional hooking and blending. There are various techniques, but the most important thing is boneless pointillism, especially like the style of Western Impressionism, such as Seurat's pointillism, the difference is that it needs to be layered on top of each other, so that the painting is rich in color, soft light and shadow, and full of mystery. The acquisition of this expressive technique is the result of his education at the Academy of Fine Arts of ** University for Nationalities, and it is inseparable from the guidance of the teachers who are engaged in the creation of gongbi painting. It is hoped that Yunfeng will not stop there, but also explore more ways on this basis, so as to continue and carry forward the traditional art style of gongbi painting, which has a long history.

I didn't elaborate much on Yun Feng's performance skills, nor did I overappreciate the effect of his pictures. In fact, expressive skills and picture effects are not the most essential things pursued in art. As long as the painter's mind and the object he expresses are in harmony, the corresponding form of expression will naturally be derived. The improvement of a painter's artistic language and expressive skills is often the result of the deepening and improvement of his perception of life. The aesthetic atmosphere presented by Yun Feng's works is tranquil and quiet, and there is a strong and resolute vitality in this elegance. This atmosphere reflects his state of mind and also his understanding of life. Confucianism says, "Heaven is strong, and a gentleman is constantly striving for self-improvement."The terrain is good, and the gentleman carries things with virtue". A gentleman must be impartial and impartial in order to achieve the state of "allowing perseverance". How similar is this golden mean to the Buddhist "Middle Way View"!In life, we must go through a thousand joys and sorrows, ignorance, joy, grief, anger, and so on. Only with "clear mind", tranquil state of mind, and only the essence can we achieve a lifelong career. Take this article to encourage Yunfeng!
