Once the CAD dimension is hidden, it can be displayed by following these steps:
Open the CAD software and open the drawing that needs to be processed.
Click on the "Format" option in the menu bar and select "Dimension Style Manager" from the drop-down menu.
In the pop-up window, select the dimension style you are currently using, and then click the "Modify" option on the right.
In the Modify Dimension Style window that pops up, select the Text tab and locate the Text Height option.
Adjust the value of "Text Height" to greater than 0, and then click the "OK" button.
Return to the main CAD interface, click the "View" option in the menu bar, and select "Regenerate" in the drop-down menu to regenerate the annotations.
In addition to the above methods, there are some tips to help you better handle dimensioning in CAD drawings:
Adjust the global scale: If your label number is too small or too large, you can adjust the size of the label by adjusting the global scale of the dimension style. In the Dimension Style Manager, select the dimension style you want to adjust, and then click the "Modify" option on the right. In the pop-up window, select the "Adjustments" tab and find the "Use Global Scale" option. Adjust the value of this option to change the size of all labels.
Modify the precision: Sometimes the precision of a numbered number may affect its display. You can adjust the number of decimal places for a dimension style by modifying its precision. In the Dimension Style Manager, select the dimension style you want to adjust, and then click the "Modify" option on the right. In the pop-up window, select the Primary Units tab and find the Decimal Separator and Rounding options. Adjust the values of these options as needed to change the precision of the callout numbers.
Leverage property matching: If there are some annotation numbers in your drawings that are not displayed or are incorrect, you can use the property matching feature to fix them. In the main CAD interface, select the callout number or line that needs to be repaired, and then click the "Format Painter" button in the menu bar. In the pop-up window, select the properties that you want to match, such as color and line type. When you're done, you can match the properties of the selected object to the properties of the selected object.
Pay attention to the text styling: Sometimes the annotated numbers are not displayed or are displayed incorrectly, perhaps because the text is not styled correctly. In the main CAD interface, select the "Format" option in the menu bar and select "Text Style Manager" in the drop-down menu. In the pop-up window, select the desired text style and set it. Make sure that the text style you use matches the font and size of the callout numbers.
Clean up the drawing: Sometimes the callout numbers are not displayed or are displayed incorrectly, perhaps because there are some invalid or damaged objects in the drawing. You can try cleaning up the drawings to fix this. In the CAD main interface, select the "File" option in the menu bar and select "Clean" in the drop-down menu. In the pop-up window, select the object type to be cleaned up and click the "Clean" button to clean up. Once the cleanup is complete, try regenerating the labels again.
