Frozen 2 is a Disney animated film released in 2019 with a sequel to 2013's Frozen. This film tells the story of Elsa, Anna, Christopher, Snow Treasure and Sven in order to find Elsa's magic, embark on a thrilling adventure, uncover the historical secrets of the kingdom of Arendelle, and the truth about Elsa and Anna's family.
As a child, Aisha heard her father tell about a mysterious forest inhabited by spirits of the four natural elements: wind, fire, water, and earth. Once, there was a conflict between the kingdom of Arendelle and the northern peoples of the forest, causing the forest to be covered in a thick fog that no one could enter or leave. The father also told Elsa that her magic was a gift, not a curse.
As she grows up, Elsa begins to hear a mysterious song that draws her to the forest. She inadvertently awakens the four elemental spirits, triggering a natural catastrophe that threatens the safety of the kingdom of Arendelle. In order to save the kingdom, Elsa decides to follow the song and explore the mysteries of the forest. Anna, Christophe, Snow Treasure and Sven also accompany her on the journey.
In the forest, they encounter the surviving Northlanders and Arendelle soldiers, as well as the Wind Elves. Aisha uses her magic to open a crystal ball and sees memories of her father's youth. It turned out that my father had entered the forest and was rescued by a girl from the northern people. This girl is the mother of Elsa and Anna. Mother also told Aisha a legend that there was a fifth-order element that could serve as a bridge between nature and humans.
Aisha continues on her way, finding and befriending the Water Elf. She opened another crystal ball and saw the truth about what happened in the forest. It turns out that the kingdom of Arendelle once built a dam in the forest, pretending to help the northern peoples, but in fact to weaken their power. The king at that time also assassinated the leader of the northern people, triggering a war between the two sides. In order to stop the war, the four elemental spirits created a dense fog to isolate the forest from the outside world.
Aisha is shocked to discover that her grandfather is the sinister king, and that she and Anna are half-blooded descendants. She realizes that in order to lift the fog, the dam must be destroyed, but this will cause the kingdom of Arendelle to be submerged. She quickly sends a message to Anna and moves on, determined to unravel the lies of the past.
After Anna receives a message from her sister, they decide to work together to uncover the truth about the family's history. Christophe and Xuebao also develop a deep bond during their journey. The group arrives at the dam, where Aisha uses her ice magic to destroy it and lift the fog, but it also causes a massive flood. In order to save the kingdom, Elsa transferred her ice and snow power to the dam and turned into a giant ice sculpture, ultimately saving the kingdom.
At the end of the film, Aisha and Anna's family and the northern ethnic groups unite and face the future together. The sisters also understand that the power of family is powerful, and only truth and affection can make everything reborn. Through elements of adventure, friendship, and family love, the whole film takes the audience into a world of ice and snow full of fantasy and warmth.
