China Youth Daily Client News (Ke Xinran, China Youth Daily, China Youth Network Reporter Lin Jie) Recently, a cold wave has hit, and the temperature in Guangzhou has plummeted. In order to protect the health of the animals, the Chimelong Wildlife World conservation team is fully prepared to adopt different measures such as heating, fluorescent lamps, and electric heating plates according to the type of animals to meet their temperature needs.

According to the conservationists, reptiles such as lizards and pythons are highly sensitive to changes in ambient temperature and humidity, and the park has created a breeding space with gradient temperatures for them. Nurses set up fluorescent lamps, electric heating panels, warm lamps and other equipment in each exhibition area of the Golden Snake Secret Land of Qinglong Mountain to ensure that the animals are not affected by the outside temperature.

In addition, the park has customized nutritious meals for all animals to ensure that the animals have enough energy to withstand the cold and will not affect their daily activities due to temperature changes. In winter, the park provides more concentrated feed for herbivores such as argali, takin, camel and giraffe. For primates, the conservation team will appropriately reduce food such as fruits, vegetables and store food at room temperature to avoid gastrointestinal diseases caused by over-cold food. At the same time, increase the ratio of trace elements, minerals and vitamins in food to ensure nutrition and improve immunity.

As the winter solstice approaches, the nursery staff prepared special "big dumplings" for the little tigers to try in advance. Coinciding with the Chimelong Super "Big Cat Festival", the park arranged a limited "snow scene" full of winter atmosphere in the wild park, and the little tigers rolled happily in the "snow scene".
With the New Year just around the corner, Chimelong Guangzhou Resort and Chimelong Zhuhai Hengqin Resort will also launch activities such as float parades and New Year's Eve markets to provide tourists with new experiences.
