On December 22, 2023, the "Friendship Across the Himalayas - China-Nepal Cultural Exchange Exhibition" opened at the Baitasi Management Office in Beijing.

The White Pagoda of Beijing Miaoying Temple was built in the eighth year of the Yuan Dynasty (1271), designed and built by the Nepalese craftsman Anigo after eight years, which is one of the most important historical relics of the Yuan Dadu, and is also a historical witness of the long history of friendly exchanges between China and Nepal.

This year is the 10th anniversary of China's joint construction of the "Belt and Road" initiative, in order to strengthen the exchange of civilizations, promote the harmonious coexistence and mutual achievement of different civilizations, and promote the mutual understanding and blind date between the people of China and Nepal, the management office of Baita Temple deeply excavates historical and cultural resources, and gives full play to the role of Baita Temple and Anigo as a bridge and link in the friendly exchanges between China and Nepal, and launched the "Friendship across the Himalayas - Sino-Nepalese Cultural Exchange Exhibition" to the public on December 22.

The exhibition is divided into three units: "Mountains - the Pearl of the Himalayas", "Mountains - Stretching for thousands of years" and "Peaks - Closely working together to climb the peak", which are supplemented by some physical exhibits, respectively showing the cultural customs of Nepal, the 1600-year history of people-to-people exchanges between China and Nepal, and the new chapter of cultural exchanges between China and Nepal in the new era. A special area is also specially designed in the exhibition to introduce the life and artistic achievements of Nepalese craftsman Anigo through vivid and easy-to-understand forms, so as to commemorate the great contribution made by the cultural envoy Anigo to the friendly exchanges between China and Nepal throughout his life.
