Once upon a time, Zhuang Zhou dreamed that he had become a butterfly, a fluttering butterfly, flying around and swimming freely, not knowing that he was Zhuang Zhou. suddenly woke up and found that it was clearly Zhuang Zhou. I don't know if Zhuang Zhou dreamed of turning into a butterfly, or if a butterfly dreamed of turning into Zhuang Zhou? There must be a difference between Zhuang Zhou and butterflies. This change is called "materialization".

This is the fable of "Zhuang Zhou's Dream Butterfly", the text is so short, but it is popular and passed down through the ages.

Since it is a fable, it must be supported as a metaphor. Zhuangzi dreamed that he had become a butterfly, and wondered if the butterfly had become himself in a dream, this question was to illustrate the ideological proposition of "Qi Wu", that isOnly by breaking the boundaries between things and self can we achieve "the unity of all things".

Zhuangzi and butterflies are two different things, and they must be different, but in Zhuangzi's dream, unity is achieved. Here we can see Zhuangzi's helplessness, and only by dreaming can we reach our ideal realm. In other words, it is impossible to achieve "Qi Wu" without dreaming. The chaos of the times and the helplessness of reality forced Zhuangzi to write articles to relieve his depression, and he had to use dreams to express his own ideas.

In my impression, everyone thought that Zhuangzi was free. Since "Zhuangzi: The Wandering Journey", Zhuangzi has created an idealized atmosphere: the Da Kun has become a Dapeng, soaring to an altitude of 90,000 miles, and that is just a stepping stone to Zhuangzi's ideal of a leisurely realm. Like "Zhuang Zhou's Dream of Butterflies", "The Change of Kunpeng" is also a dream, which is all about an emotion, a kind of conjecture created based on the helpless reality.

At the end of the fable, "materialization" is proposed, which is the end of the fable and the end of the whole Zhuangzi Theory of Things. Zhuangzi believes that everything is in flux, there is no absolute boundary between things, and there is no so-called right and wrong argument, all of which can be transformed into each other. "Yes" can be transformed into "non" under certain circumstances, and "non" can be transformed into "yes" under certain circumstances, that is, there is no absolute boundary between right and wrong, and there is no absolute right or wrong in the truth of the world.

Just like "Zhuang Zhou dreams of butterflies", it is possible that Zhuangzi dreamed that he became a butterfly, or it is possible that the butterfly dreamed that he became Zhuangzi. There is no absolute standard between things, and there is no common standard "without absolute", and judging the behavior of others by one's own standard will inevitably lead to arguments about right and wrong.

Right and wrong are caused by people's subjective prejudices, and only by removing subjective prejudices can we treat all things equally, and only by removing subjective prejudices can we calm down the debate between right and wrong.

The fable is based on the Zhuangzi Theory of Things).
