In 2023, the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Medicines and Health Products has successively announced three batches of export commodity brand certification lists recommended by the Medical Insurance Chamber of Commerce. A number of in vitro diagnostic companies have passed the evaluation of export commodity brands and won the "Export Commodity Brand Certificate" issued by the China International Promotion Committee.

The export commodity brand evaluation is based on the group standard of the "Export Commodity Brand Evaluation Specification" of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, which evaluates the export brand of the enterprise from eight dimensions, including R&D and innovation ability, international certification, market recognition, intellectual property protection, global operation, credit system, social evaluation and departmental punishment, and issues export commodity brand certificates for the enterprises that meet the standards. The certificate is a "stepping stone" for domestic products to be exported overseas, helping enterprises to improve brand awareness and international market competitiveness.
