When cooking, it is not uncommon to accidentally burn the pot dry. In this case, don't worry, here are a few tricks to easily dispose of a boiled dry pot.

Step 1: Let the pan cool down first

The boiled pan is very hot, do not touch it directly with your hands. First, turn off the heat and set the pan aside to cool. At this point, you can go about other things and wait for the pot to cool down completely before moving on to the next step.

Step 2: Remove the burnt part

Once the pan has cooled, you can see that there may be some charred parts at the bottom of the pan. At this point, you can gently wipe these blackened areas with a steel wool ball or sandpaper. Remember, rub gently, not too hard, so as not to scratch the bottom of the pan.

Step 3: Add vinegar to soak

If the charred part is more difficult to remove, you can add some vinegar and hot water to the pot and let the pot soak for a while. The acidic nature of vinegar can help soften the charred part, making it easier to remove. The soaking time can be determined according to the degree of charring, generally 10-20 minutes is enough.

Step 4: Wash and oil

After processing the charred parts, rinse the pan with clean water. Then, apply a thin layer of oil to the pan, which will prevent the pan from rusting. Remember to wipe this layer off before using it next time!

Follow the steps above and your pot will be back to new shape. Isn't it simple? The next time you encounter a pot that burns dry, you'll know what to do with it!
