On the first day of the new year, the sun quietly poked her head out, like a shy girl with a red face. The streets are sparsely populated, but every face carries a new hope and longing. The aftertaste of firecrackers fills the air, which mixes with the freshness of the early morning to make it feel extra warm.
The old locust tree on the corner of the street is still standing after wind, frost, rain and snow. Its foliage sways gently in the breeze, as if to greet passers-by. Under the tree, several old people sat around, and the fragrance of tea curled. They talked and laughed with happy smiles on their faces. In that smile, there is a feeling for the past and an expectation for the future.
At the market, stall owners put out fresh fruits, vegetables and fish early. A lady selling tofu shouted: "New Year's tofu, tender and delicious!."It attracted passers-by to stop one after another. The tofu is made by the eldest lady herself, pure by hand, without additives. Take a bite, and the thick bean aroma goes straight to the heart.
In the temple not far away, the bells are melodious. Believers hold incense and candles and pray sincerely. They hope that in the new year, their families will be safe and their careers will be successful. This simple wish, like this warm sun, warms everyone's heart.
I took a deep breath and felt the warmth. On the first day of the new year, everything is full of new life. Old trees and new sprouts, old things and new wishes, ancient temple bells, fireworks in the world ......All of this is so harmonious and beautiful.
May this warm breath accompany us through every cold winter and usher in every spring.
