According to the data released by the General Administration of Customs, from January to November 2023, China exported a total of 8,265 steel products80,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 356%;China has imported 6.98 million tons of steel, a year-on-year decrease of 292%;During the same period, China's cumulative net exports of steel products were 7,56780,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 453%。Considering that China's steel exports in December 2022 will be 5.4 million tons, with a relatively low base, Lange Steel Research Center expects that China's steel exports will still maintain a year-on-year increase and a slight month-on-month fluctuation trend in December, and steel exports in 2023 are expected to exceed 90 million tons, a year-on-year increase of about 30%;Steel imports were about 7.7 million tons, down about 25% year-on-year.

According to the monitoring data of Lange Iron and Steel Research Center, in 2023, China's steel export products will be subject to 21 first-class relief investigations initiated by 13 countries and regions, including 9 anti-dumping investigation cases, 4 anti-dumping and anti-subsidy merger cases, 4 anti-circumvention investigation cases, 2 transitional review cases, and 2 safeguard measuresCompared to 2022, the number of countries increased by 4;The number of cases is flat.
