Fast Technology reported on December 30 that 2023 is coming to an end, and from January 1, 2024, a number of national standards will begin to be implemented.
These include the "Electrical Safety Requirements for Electric Bicycles", which stipulates the safety requirements for preventing electric bicycles from electrical fire and electric shock, and standardizes the quality and safety of electric bicycles by standardized means.
It is understood that the requirements for the battery system in the "Electrical Safety Requirements for Electric Bicycles" are as follows:
The lead-acid battery system meets GB T32504-2016 and GB T221991-2017 requirements.
The lithium-ion battery system meets the relevant requirements of GB T36972-2018.
The degree of protection meets the requirements of IP33B.
The input and output ports are short-circuited.
The output is cut off from the main circuit during charging.
When charging, the overvoltage or overcurrent is cut off within 1 second.
There is no current output when the charging port is misconnected.
The discharge overcurrent is cut off within 1 second.
When the charging and discharging temperature is higher or too low, it will be cut off within 30 seconds.
Charging or discharging circuit, alarm sound within 30 seconds when the temperature reaches the limit value.
When the protection device fails, the internal connection of the battery is immediately cut off.
The battery system and the charger are mutually recognizable for charging.
This standard focuses on the requirements of warning words, electrical strength, heating, protection, temperature and humidity resistance of electric bicycles for electrical safety.
It is reported that the "Safety Technical Specifications for Lithium-ion Batteries and Battery Packs for Portable Electronic Products", "Safety Requirements for Heat-resistant Glass Appliances" and "General Requirements for Safe Electricity Use in Rural Low-voltage Areas" will also be implemented from January 1 next year.
