In November 1929, Mao Zhiyong was born in Yueyang, Hunan. As a child, Mao Zhiyong completed a private school in his hometown, and then further received a high school education, growing into an outstanding young man with culture and high quality. He could have taken over the *** team, but in his later years, he retired to the mountains and forests and lived a comfortable life.
When the time came to 1951, Yueyang, Hunan Province wanted to implement the land reform policy. Secretary Li, the local leader, wanted to take advantage of this rare opportunity to let go of his hands and feet to work hard for the benefit of the peasant brothers. However, there was a shortage of constructive talents in the hometown at that time, and no matter how good the policy was, if the propaganda work was not done properly and there was no way to make the masses understand the real benefits of land reform, how could everyone cooperate?
When Secretary Li was at a loss, he accidentally learned about Mao Zhiyong, who was working at home.
