Causes of failure of industrial coal fired boilers

1.Overpressure**.

The operating pressure exceeds the maximum allowable working pressure of the boiler, the stress of the steel plate (pipe) exceeds the limit value, and the safety valve and the overpressure interlock fail to have the danger of overpressure.

2.Water scarcity accidents.

The danger of water shortage accidents is caused by the misoperation of the stoker, the failure of the water level gauge or automatic water supply device, and the leakage of a large amount of water from the economizer or the failure of the sewage valve and the failure of the check valve.

3.Full water accidents.

The negligence of the stoker worker, the failure of the water level gauge, and the failure of the automatic water supply can lead to the danger of water filling accidents. A flooding accident will cause a large amount of steam to carry water, which will reduce the quality of steam and even cause water hammer, damage to pipelines, and damage to steam-using equipment.

4.Soda and water together.

The water quality does not meet the requirements, the boiler water content reaches a critical value, or overloaded, the steam consumption increases suddenly, and the pressure decreases too quickly, which causes the danger of steam and water co-rising.

5.Scaling, corrosion and slagging

Poor water quality will cause scaling and corrosion of the boiler;Poor coal quality, improper soot blowing and boiler cleaning will cause boiler slag, which may lead to boiler tube bursting and even boiler **.

6.Furnace chamber**.

Improper ignition, or the combustibles in the furnace are not excluded after the ignition, and the mixture with air reaches the first lower limit, and there is a danger of the furnace cavity under the action of ignition or detonation energy.
