In 2023, among the winners of the national collection of the five university science competitions, Zhejiang has the largest total number of people, with a total of 46 people. Beijing ranked second with a total of 33 people, and Chongqing ranked third with 24 people. See the figure below for details

The 33 candidates from Beijing who were selected for the national training team came from six middle schools: the High School Affiliated to the National People's Congress, the High School Affiliated to Peking University, the No. 4 Middle School, the No. 11 School, the Experimental High School Affiliated to Beijing Normal University, and the Beijing No. 2 Middle School.
