The word "righteousness" has always been an ethical criterion and a concept since ancient times. The term "Assassin" is considered by most to be a derogatory term, as many people shy away from the Assassins, who usually perform killing missions on behalf of others at the cost of money.
However, Yurang was a special Assassin who displayed an unusual spirit. Originally, it was Zhibo's doorman, and in the Spring and Autumn Period, recruiting doormen was a means of cultivating talents. Zhibo, as the doctor of the Jin Kingdom, belonged to the Zhongxing clan, and after the Fan clan was destroyed, the four major families of Zhi, Zhao, Han, and Wei fought fiercely to expand their respective powers. After Zhibo was conspired by the Han and Wei families, although the Zhi family had been destroyed, Zhao Xiangzi's resentment towards Zhibo had not yet been resolved. He made Zhibo's head into a night pot, which caused Yu Rang's wrath.
Yu Rang decided to avenge Zhibo, disguised himself as a toilet repairer, and successfully blended into Zhao Xiangzi's side. When Zhao Xiangzi went to the toilet, Yu Rang felt nervous and had a premonition of danger. His subordinates searched for suspicious people and eventually found Yu Rang. Faced with the discovery, Yu Rang did not panic, and frankly admitted that he was Zhibo's subordinate, who came to avenge his master and prepared to kill Zhao Xiangzi. After hearing this, Zhao Xiangzi felt Yu Rang's loyalty and justice, so he forgave him.
Although Yu Rang failed to assassinate Zhao Xiangzi, he could no longer approach Zhao Xiangzi in his original form. In order to take revenge again, he swallowed carbon to mute his voice, smeared with ringworm, and changed his appearance, so that even his wife could not recognize him. However, one day he was recognized by his friend, who suggested that he could approach Zhao Xiangzi as a cronie and have more chances. But Yu Rang refused to use villain methods, and he wanted to avenge Zhibo openly.
So, Yu Rang chose to play dead under the bridge that Zhao Xiangzi passed, and when Zhao Xiangzi crossed the bridge, his horse felt dangerous and stopped moving. After the search, Yu Rang was found again. Yu Rang knew that there was no chance to avenge Zhibo, his heart ached, and he looked up to the sky and sighed. Zhao Xiangzi saw Yu Rang pay such a price for revenge, and he had a sense of admiration for him.
Yu Rang embodies the awe-inspiring spirit of righteousness and sacrificing his life for righteousness, so that his name has been passed down through the ages and is admired by future generations.
