On December 20, Beijing time, the League of Legends event officially announced today that the highly anticipated 2023 Demacia Cup will kick off at the Shanghai Alliance Arena from December 25 to January 6, 2024.

This tournament will welcome 24 teams from the LPL, LDL, youth academy and mass competition channels to gather together to compete for the glory of the German Cup.

In addition to the 4 LPL giants participating in the 2023 World Finals, the other 20 teams will stand out in the group stage through the fierce competition of the BO1 group single round-robin, and the 4 teams that will be the first in the group will be promoted. These four teams will advance to the knockout stage alongside the World Finals qualifiers.

The group stage includes 13 LPL teams, 2 LDL independent teams, 1 academy team and 4 popular event teams. These 20 teams will enter four groups of ABCD according to the results of the random draw, with five teams in each group, to start a BO1 single round-robin points competition.
