Get out of the rain of anxiety and master two ways of life.

Anxiety in life stems from a sense of loss of control over life. We often strive to improve our capabilities and strive for better work, relationships and quality of life. In these times of change, sometimes we need to let go of control and accept the uncontrollable factors in our lives. Through the story of a sudden rainstorm, we may be able to better understand the importance of letting go of control.

Last month, my friends and I went to the temple fair, but we were hit by a sudden rainstorm. Crowds poured into the only shelter from the rain, creating chaos. In the midst of this chaos, I noticed a family of three holding hands in a small shelter from the rain, even though they were all soaking wet. The composure of the family enlightened me. It turns out that in the face of uncontrollable natural forces, some people choose to let go of control and thus maintain inner peace. It also made me realize that sometimes life is like a rain, and even if you try your best to control it, it is difficult to change its natural laws.

The two ways to take control of your life are to increase your control and let go of it. In the journey of life, we often fall into the whirlpool of control, trying to influence the opinions of others, the future of children, and the development of relationships. Letting go of control does not mean being rotten, but rather a rational acceptance and tolerance. Through a friend's experience, I understood this deeply.

My friend Xiao E is a responsible and anxious mother. For a long time, she paid too much attention to everything about her son, hoping to shape a perfect child through strict discipline. When his son fell into depression because of this, Xiao E realized the disadvantages of control. In the process of his son's suspension from school, Xiao E gradually let go of his excessive control over his son and began to reflect on his life. She found that all these years, she had lived for the sake of her children, neglecting her own needs and joys. This realization made her suddenly enlightened and decided to refocus on her life.

The key to letting go of control is awareness. When we feel anxious and overwhelmed, we can ask ourselves if the two of us are trying to control things that are outside of our capabilities, and if things get completely out of control, will life be overThrough this self-awareness, we are able to better understand the boundaries of our abilities and avoid falling into the vortex of over-control.

The process of growing up in life is sometimes like a heavy rain that gets wet. At first, we may be anxious because we get wet, but over time we may be able to realize that letting go of control is not a sign of weakness, but a form of maturity and tolerance. Finding a balance between the two ways of mastering life may be the only way for everyone to grow. In the end, we can be like Su Shi's "Fixing the Storm", "a cloud of smoke and rain is a life", and maintain tranquility and indifference in the wind and rain of life.
