The explosion-proof grade of the forklift refers to the grade that prevents sparks, static electricity and other factors during use.
There are three common explosion-proof grades:
1. Explosion-proof grade EX D, suitable for the electrical parts of forklifts, using the barrier method, by setting up an explosion-proof isolation cover, to prevent possible arc light and sparks from escaping, suitable for petrochemical, coal mining and other industries often used.
2. Explosion-proof grade EX E, suitable for forklift electrical parts and mechanical parts, based on the leakage method, take sealing measures to avoid possible spark escape, and install connectors to prevent short circuits, suitable for dust areas.
3. The explosion-proof level EXI protects the electrical components from the limited safety power supply, and isolates the components from the environment, which is suitable for areas prone to gas, characterized by low working voltage of the components, small electrical energy, and no damage to the working environment.
When selecting forklifts, we need to choose forklifts with different explosion-proof grades according to the actual production environment and the types of hazardous substances to ensure the safety of the production environment.
