On August 14, 1949, when the United States introduced Sino-US relations and wantonly slandered China's nascent regime, in response, Chairman ** personally wrote and published the article "Discarding Illusions and Preparing for Struggle".

This year marks the 74th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the 74th anniversary of the publication of "Discarding Illusions, Preparing for Struggle", and the first year of the escalation of contradictions between China and the ......United StatesIn such an environment of extraordinary significance, revisiting the classic theory of the President and carefully studying this historical document is of great strategic significance for correctly handling Sino-US relations, winning the War of Resistance against US Aggression in the new era, and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

There are three key theories in this paper:

First, the nature of imperialism will never change.

Many intellectuals are very disgusted by the term "American imperialism", they believe that the United States is liberal capitalism, which has nothing to do with "imperialism", and the reason why we want to call it "imperialism" is to use the moral high ground to criticize it.

Therefore, before the essence of imperialism and the future relationship between China and the United States, we must first clarify one question: Is the United States imperialism?

According to the Marxist-Leninist interpretation, the imperialist stage has the following characteristics: First, the high concentration of production and capital makes the monopoly organizations play a decisive role in the economy and life. The second is the integration of bank capital and industrial capital into financial capital, and on this basis, a financial oligarchy is formed.

Judging from these two basic characteristics, the United States is completely in line with the nature of imperialism. First of all, the American monopolies do play a decisive role in economic and political life. In the energy sector, for example, ExxonMobil and Chevron are monopolists. In the military industry, Boeing and Lockheed Martin are monopolists. In the internet sector, Google and Facebook are monopolists.

These monopolies use the money they have to finance the politicians they like, and when the politicians take important positions, they promise a series of policies in return. This is more in line with the sentence "monopolies play a decisive role in the economy and life".

Second, financial capital, represented by Wall Street, does cross-control various physical industrial groups. In industrial companies such as Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, and Apple, you can find Wall Street investors. Although they do not directly control the means of production (the machinery for producing products), they form a financial oligarchy that is difficult to shake by controlling the shares of real enterprises.

The above is based on the conclusions reached by Marx-Lenin as a European who looked at imperialism from the perspective of Western capital. And *** explains it more clearly: imperialism is a political entity that monopolizes internally and exploits externally.

As we said above, we must have listed a large basket of evidence for the United States, such as the exploitation of Russian state-owned enterprises by shock, the exploitation of third-world countries by manipulating the hegemony of the dollar, and the all-round exploitation of Japan's finance, industry, and exchange rate by power politics.

To sum up, the United States is a modern imperialist that deserves to be.

So, what is the essence of imperialism?** Believe that the essence of imperialism has two points, aggression and war due to the seizure of interests!

From the Sino-British War in 1840 to the dynastic stage in 1911, the Western powers launched two Opium Wars, Sino-French Wars, Russo-Japanese Wars, and Eight-Nation Allied Wars of Aggression against China in order to compete for China's territory, raw material markets, tariff rights, and product dumping rights. From 1911 to 1949, there was the 918 Japanese War of Aggression against Northeast China, and the Sino-Japanese all-out war triggered by the July 7 Incident.

After the founding of the People's Republic of China, the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Vietnam, the Taiwan Strait Crisis, the Yinhe Incident, the Yugoslav Bombing Incident, the South China Sea Plane Collision Incident, and economic and trade wars broke out one after another. Judging from the historical events that have taken place, whether it is in the Qing Dynasty in the past or in the 21st century, US imperialism has been waging aggression and war against us.

The only difference is that the form of war has changed, and it has changed from a hot war dominated by military ** to a more covert cyber war, economic war, and financial war.

Therefore, we must keep in mind the phrase ***: its (imperialistic) nature cannot be changed.

The imperialists will never lay down their butcher's knives, and they will never become Buddhas until they perish. The meaning of this passage is obvious, that is, imperialism will not die!

The second point is that the logic of imperialism is to make trouble, to fail, to make trouble, to fail again.

The logic of a person's behavior depends on its essence (character). When we establish that the essence of US imperialism is aggression and war, it is easier for us to understand the logic of its behavior: trouble, failure, trouble, and failure. The President's exact words are as follows: The logic of the imperialists and the logic of the people are so different.

Trouble, failure, trouble, failure, and destruction – this is the logic of imperialism and all the reactionaries in the world in their treatment of the people's cause, and they will not go against it. This is a Marxist law.

Facts speak louder than words! In the 70 years since the publication of "Throw Away Your Illusions, Prepare for Struggle," the United States' actions against China and other countries have been in a cycle of making trouble, failing, being unwilling, making trouble again, and failing again.

Against China: After the outbreak of the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union in 1947, Kuomintang China was built as a bridgehead to contain Soviet expansion in Asia, according to the top-level strategy of the White House. However, with the victory of the Liberation War, the plot of US imperialism was completely frustrated.

In order to contain New China and the Soviet Union, the United States brazenly launched the Korean War, intending to occupy the entire Korean Peninsula and turn Northeast Asia, Taiwan, and the French Indochina Peninsula into a huge strategic encirclement of China.

After the defeat of the Korean War, the United States was very unwilling, and its strategic air commander, General Lemay, even openly shouted: North Korea has no suitable airdrop targets, but we can drop a few atomic bombs in suitable places in northeast China and southeast of the Soviet Union. Although the United States did not put its threats into action in the end, this does not mean that it has given up on making trouble.

In 1955, the Vietnam War broke out, and the U.S. military invested 420,000 troops in this war. And the real purpose of this war is to create a bridgehead position in Southeast Asia to blockade China from the bottom. The result is obvious, US imperialism has failed again.

After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the United States, which had been suspended for 20 years, began to make trouble again: in order to prevent China's reunification, it detonated the crisis in the Taiwan Strait; In order to test China's bottom line, it concocted the Yinhe incident, the Yugoslav bombing incident, and the South China Sea plane collision incidentIn order to prevent the establishment of the China-Japan-South Korea Free Trade Zone, ** Jinzo was ousted and planned the Diaoyu Island crisis.

Now, in order to prevent China from becoming a high-end industrial manufacturing country, the United States has begun to make trouble again.

For other countries: There are more examples of the United States causing trouble against other countries, and we will take Iran, which is more representative recently, as an example. After the Islamic Revolution broke out in Iran in 1979, the United States tried every possible means to bring down Iran.

As a result, the White House propped up an ambitious politician named Saddam Hussein in Iran's neighboring Iraq, and in 1980, the year after the Islamic Republic of Iran was founded, the Iran-Iraq War aimed at aggression against Iran began. The idea of the Americans is to use the Iran-Iraq war to drain Iran first, and then reap the benefits themselves.

Who would have thought that not only was Iran not defeated, but the puppet supported by the White House got out of control. The ensuing Gulf War declared a complete failure of the first US strangulation of Iran.

At the beginning of the 21st century, the United States made a comeback and launched an economic war with comprehensive sanctions against Iran under the pretext of Iran's nuclear development. In 2015, the United States was forced to sign the JCPOA with Iran due to the joint intervention of China, Russia and Europe.

However, the United States has never given up its ambition to take out Iran and dominate the Middle East, so it tore up the agreement again in 2018 and officially launched the third round of the strangulation war against Iran.

From the above discussion, we can see that the survival and continuation of US imperialism is based on internal monopoly and external exploitation, and this essence drives it to constantly launch wars of aggression against foreign countries. And the invaded people do not want to be enslaved, so there is the behavioral logic of the United States to make trouble, fail, make trouble, and fail again.

So, we must remember,Until imperialism is destroyed, it will continue to wage wars of aggression!

The third point is to discard illusions, be prepared to fight, dare to fight, and be good at fighting.

Why is it important to emphasize the loss of illusions?

Because no matter what era they live in, there is always such a group of people in China: they have a high social status, but they are rampant and lawless at home;Groveling to the outside world and harming national interests. That's right, this group of people is the notorious "capitulationists"!

Since the outbreak of the First Opium War, whenever the contradictions between China and foreign countries have become more and more acute, the capitulation faction in China has always come out to stir up trouble. The enemy slapped him on the left side of the face, and he had to change his right face to ask "Taijun" to give him another slap. What is even more infuriating is that they will also find all kinds of excuses to frantically wash the floor for the enemy, deceiving some Chinese people into always having illusions about imperialism, and greatly undermining the formation of the national united front.

Therefore, when US imperialism is attacking again, we must not only be prepared to fight, dare to fight, and be good at fighting, but also throw away all unrealistic illusions. We should also concentrate superior resources and superior forces to strike at the enemy's soft underbelly, and we must achieve the four "hit" formulas, that is, to fight hard, accurately, steadily, and for a long time

As *** said when US imperialism launched a war of aggression against Korea:We will fight for as long as they want, until we are completely victorious!
