In the case of processing some bosses with more and rules, when writing the chamfered C corner toolpath, all the C angles can be made in one toolpath, so how to set the parameters for the C angle of a toolpath to make multiple steps like the one in the figure?Let's share with you how to do it.
Workaround:
1. In the machining interface, [Create Process] - [Mill-Planar] - [Face Milling], as shown in the following figure:
2. In the [Plane Milling] process interface, [Specify Component Boundary] select the boundary of each step surface of the workpiece, and [Specify Bottom Surface] select the bottom plane, as shown in the following figure:
3. In the [Face Milling] process interface, [Cutter] selects a chamfering cutter, here according to the actual situation, the chamfer of D8-V45 is selected, [Cutting Mode-Contour], after the above parameters are set, click [Cutting Layer], as shown in the following figure:
4. In the [Cutting Layer] interface, the type uses [Critical Depth], because it is necessary to pour the C angle together with multiple steps, and the tip of the tool should be 1mm deeper than each plane position, so that the poured out C angle is complete enough, so you need to set [Distance from the top surface of 1mm] at the top of the cutting layer, and click [OK] after the setting is completed, as shown in the following figure:
5. Open the [Cutting Parameters] interface, find the [Margin] interface, and prepare to pour C05, set the [Component Allowance-0.]5mm], the depth of the tip of the chamfered C corner must exceed the size of the C corner to be cleanly processed, so [the final bottom margin - 1mm], as shown in the figure below:
6. After the above parameters are set, a tool path can be generated to obtain a tool path that makes multiple steps at the same time, as shown in the following figure
