In this article, I want to make it clear that the results of the Michael Morey experiment were wrong.

The experiment aims to prove the existence of the aether. The aether is a concept put forward by the first generation of physicists, which is the medium through which electromagnetic waves propagate.

The premise that I question the validity of this experiment is that light has a medium of propagation, and that light travels through different spaces in different mediums. For example, in space, which is thought to be empty, there may be aether as a medium of light.

But when light reaches the Earth, its medium of propagation should be air. Because air is the most abundant and widespread substance on the earth's surface, it can be said that the ground is a space where air is closely superimposed, and all movements on the earth's surface are fighting against the resistance of air.

It can be described that if it is a particle, there is no reason why it can pass through a thick layer of air without a thin layer of foam. We all see it in our daily lives, a piece of white foam is light enough to carry people and float on the water.

I think that the reason why light cannot penetrate the foam is because the foam is in its state. The reason why an object is called a body is that there is a strong force between the atoms, which makes it difficult to be separated. In contrast to that discrete state of air and water.

However, there are actually things that can be called bodies, which can also transmit light, that is, glass. Glass is also a very peculiar substance, so what is the principle of glass transmitting light?All objects that can be passed by light have one thing in common – rigidity. Transparent objects such as diamond and glass are very hard, which is different from the toughness and bending of metal, but is an object that will break when it reaches a certain physical strength.

So what is light?Nowadays, physics believes that light has wave-particle duality, and the specific essence should be particles, because Einstein's photoelectric effect is widely recognized.

But I don't think light is a particle. Light is a chain reaction caused by the violent movement of the light source and the impact of space, which is densely packed with matter and interaction forces, and tends to be evenly balanced. Therefore, the impact sensing of the atomic motion of the light source can be transmitted thousands of miles away in an instant. And there can be no particles, because there is no mass to be able to do this.

Of course, when it comes to this, there must be people who wonder why the sound can't be so fast, and it seems that the two are similar.

No, the propagation of sound is very similar to the mechanism of action of light described here. But we can imagine that all sounds are made by objects, such as tongues, gongs and drums, and so on. These sounds are emitted on a surface-based basis, while light is emitted on a point-based basis, and that's the clear difference between the two. I won't go into detail here.

And let's go back to the Michael Morey experiment. The site of this experiment is on the surface of the earth, in this space densely wrapped in air, and the ubiquitous air is the macromolecule of this space, which forms the skeleton of space, and any force will be borne by this space skeleton.

Even if there is an ether passing through the air, it cannot be used as a medium for the propagation of light, because the essence of light transmission is to transmit a dynamic, not to transmit particles.

So in the Michael-Morey experiment, what was measured was that the light was not shifted in the air at rest, which does not prove that the aether does not exist.
