Taihang aqueduct is a famous water conservancy project in our country, but also a monument in the history of our country's engineering, it is located in Xingtai City, Hebei Province, Liu Shigang Township Ferry Village, the aqueduct started construction in 1973, the construction of 4,000 migrant workers, hard work for 4 years, completed in May 1976.
The Chinese painting "Spiritual Monument - Taihang Aqueduct" is based on historical facts and uses the expression of time and space to express the feat of this project artistically, showing the spiritual connotation of courage, wisdom, unity and dedication represented by the monument of Taihang Aqueduct.
Yu Ming ** was born in the ancient city of Hebei Province in 1984, studied in Liang Zhanyan Studio of China National Academy of Painting from 2012 to 2014, was funded by the National Art ** Project in 2017, and was funded by the Youth Literary and Art Creation Support Program of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles in 2023.
