Self-adhesive labels have the advantages of no brushing, no paste, no dipping in water, no pollution, saving labeling time, etc., with a wide range of applications, convenient and fast. Because self-adhesive labels are often used as identification or labels for products, they need to be tightly bonded to the surface of the product to ensure the durability and reliability of the label. If the label is not sticky enough, it may lead to problems such as label detachment and blurred handwriting, which will affect the quality, safety and recognition of the product.
In addition, the stickiness of self-adhesive labels is also related to its production process and materials. Self-adhesive labels of different materials have different stickiness and application ranges, so the stickiness of self-adhesive labels needs to be tested and evaluated to ensure that they meet the needs of practical applications.
By detecting the stickiness of self-adhesive labels, we can find the problems of the label in time, avoid various problems caused by the label falling off and other reasons, and provide a reliable guarantee for the production and use of products.
Self-adhesive label stickiness tester test principle:
A method bevel rolling ball method and B method chute rolling ball method are adopted
Method A: The initial adhesion of the specimen is tested by the adhesion of the adhesive tape to the steel ball when the adhesive surface of the specimen is in brief contact with a small pressure between the steel ball and the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape specimen. A steel ball is rolled over the adhesive surface of the adhesive tape placed flat on the inclined plate, and its initial tack size is evaluated according to the maximum size of the steel ball that can be adhered to by the adhesive surface of the specified length.
Method B: Roll a steel ball of a specified size through the inclined groove, and measure the distance of its rolling on the adhesive surface of the adhesive tape on the horizontal plate to evaluate the size of its initial tack.
Self-adhesive label stickiness tester detection method:
Prepare the specimen. Select a self-adhesive label that meets the standard and attach it to the specimen device to make sure it is flat.
Turn on the test device. Place the self-adhesive label on the specimen device of the testing equipment, open the test equipment, and move the self-adhesive label to contact the test board at the speed specified in the standard.
Full contact. When the self-adhesive label is in full contact with the breadboard, the self-adhesive label tack tester automatically counts and records the force generated.
Separation detection. The testing equipment completely separates the self-adhesive label from the breadboard at the speed specified in the standard, recording the maximum force generated.
5.Statistical analysis of data. The equipment can automatically count the detection results for data analysis and obtain the stickiness parameters of self-adhesive labels.
In order to ensure the accuracy of the test results, during the inspection process, during the process of complete contact and separation, it is necessary to ensure that the speed is consistent, the equipment is calibrated regularly, and the ambient temperature of the test is consistent.
The stickiness tester of self-adhesive labels is an important equipment for evaluating self-adhesive labels, and by using this equipment, it can effectively detect the stickiness parameters of self-adhesive labels, and can provide technical reference and reference for enterprises.
