Due to the poor sealing of the wiring harness connector inside the gearbox, conductive debris in the transmission oil may enter the connector, resulting in a short circuit in the wiring harness, resulting in the inability of the drive motor to operate, and the vehicle to lose driving power, which is a potential safety hazard.
Recall Measures:
Chrysler (China) Automobile Sales*** will update the power inverter module software for free for vehicles within the scope of the recall, when one drive motor fails, switch to another motor to provide driving force, and the vehicle enters limp mode to eliminate potential safety hazards. For the vehicle with the defect failure of the drive motor in the later use process, the transmission assembly (including the drive motor) will be replaced free of charge.
