On the evening of December 12, all 260 snow removal teams of the sub-bureau were on duty, and 86 sets of snow removal machinery were ready, including: 29 spreaders, 19 scrapers, 8 snow shovels, 1 snow shovel with spreaders, 21 snow brushes, 4 water wheels, 4 trail snow plows, and 1 set of 50-ton salt melting tanks. 30 snow melting agent transport vehicles and 20 snow patrol auxiliary vehicles are ready. 1,400 tons of snow melting agent and 50 tons of snow melting agent solution have been reserved at 22 material snow removal points, and 300 tons of snow melting agent have been consumed and replenished.
In order to prevent road icing, on the evening of the 12th, 63 tons of snow melting agent were spread on the curves, steep slopes, shady road sections, tunnel entrances and exits, and long bridges of the Jingmo Line, Ansi Road, Taiguan Road, Huaihuang Road, Fanqi Road, Tianbei Road North Extension, Beitai Road, Chaliang Road and other sections in advance, and 63 tons of snow melting agent were spread to prevent road ice at night.
At the same time, 30 patrol vehicles of the maintenance unit carry out uninterrupted road inspections on the maintenance sections, and each patrol vehicle is equipped with tow ropes and anti-skid disposal tools, and anti-skid disposal and traffic guidance are carried out in a timely manner when the road is found to be icy.
In order to ensure the safety of the operation of the national highway, the sub-bureau focused on strengthening the ice and snow removal guarantee of the 92-kilometer mountainous section of the Beijing Desert Line, arranged 9 material preparation teams along the Beijing Desert Line, refined the ice and snow removal measures, and deployed 3 scrapers from Xianghe and Daxing to ensure the snow removal work of the Beijing Desert Line. Due to the fact that there are many curves and steep slopes in the Beijing desert line out of Beijing, the sub-bureau focuses on the anti-skid disposal of this section of the road and guides the travel of vehicles. At the same time, it is arranged to study the route selection of emergency access lines and emergency parking points to ensure the diversion and relief of vehicles in emergencies.
