Mondo Education Updated on 2024-01-19

This weekend, December 3rd (Sunday), the JLPT Japanese Language Proficiency Test will start on time

What is the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT)?

Japanese Language Proficiency Test,It is a test that measures the Japanese language ability of a person whose native language is not Japanese, and is held twice a year, in July and December.

The printing of the admission ticket will start on November 27. Be sure to print out the admission ticket in advance. Be sure to bring your ID card, admission ticket, pencil (2B HB), and eraser before the test. Only a pencil is required for the whole test, and a signature pen is not required.

The rest of the items needed to go out for the test are not allowed to be brought into the examination room. Mobile phone school bags and other items need to be placed in the designated location of the examination room, and the mobile phone must be turned off, and it must not ring during the test

The third point is to be sure to pay attention to the time. If you arrive at the test room early, the test starts at 13:30 in the afternoon, but the entrance stops at 13:10!Students should clarify the test duration corresponding to the level they are applying for, and reasonably arrange the time for each subject. You can bring your watch into the venue, but smart watches are not allowed in the test room!

Fourth, the candidate's admission ticket number and name have been printed on the answer sheet in advance, and you need to confirm whether the information is correct after getting it. In addition, you will also need to fill in your date of birth and gender with a pencil.

Fifth, the JLPT answer sheet is different from our usual answer sheets in that it is filled in in a round shape, so it is recommended that you sharpen the pencil in advance to be suitable for painting a circle.

Sixth, one answer sheet for each subject, three for N5-N3 and two for N2 and N1. The answer sheets are linked together and need to be cut by yourself. Because there is a reserved cutting line, don't worry about the handicap party!

Seventh, the examination will first issue the test papers of the language knowledge and reading subjects, and the answer sheets of each subject will be collected after each subject. Before the listening lesson begins, there will be a 10-minute break before the listening test paper is distributed. You will not be allowed to enter the listening test after it starts, so please do not go too far to rest.

Eighth, after the listening recording** is completed, the answer sheet of the listening subject will be taken away immediately, so everyone must paint the card while listening, there is no additional time to paint the card, no extra time to paint the card.

Other tips

1.Go to the bathroom once before the exam starts.

2.Only pencils, erasers (paper covers should be removed) and admission tickets can only be placed on the table.

3.Personal belongings should be placed in the designated location according to the requirements of the invigilator!!

4.Turn off your phone! If you make a sound from your mobile phone during the test, you will be judged to be unsuccessful!

5.On the day of the test, it is required to wear clothing with no words and no numbers.

6.Exams in Japan start at noon, so it is recommended to bring some food and water with you.

7.For the winter exam, the examination room will generally have air conditioning, so you can consider it yourself, so you don't need to wear too much, which will affect your writing.

8.On the road and while waiting for admission, you can do the final Xi, such as: looking at the wrong question set you have organized, browsing through the real questions, listening to the real questions to maintain your sense of language, and memorizing the list of high-frequency test points that have been organized....

Answering skills

1.Don't stumble on the previous text, vocabulary and grammar questions, just let it go, and guess one right away. Leave plenty of time for reading (you won't, and neither will others)!

2.Be sure to pay attention to the time when doing reading, and set aside at least 5 minutes to draw the answer sheet (when the test time comes, you will be asked to stop answering the questions, and the test paper and answer sheet will be collected)!

3.Listening must be listened to a question, answer sheet to fill in a question (there is no separate time to fill in the answer sheet)!

4.Before handing in the final papers, be sure to check whether the personal information on the test papers and answer sheets is complete, especially the name and admission ticket number.

5.Don't panic when you encounter questions that you don't understand during the exam, it's a normal situation. Don't be affected by local questions, keep a good attitude, continue to do the following questions, and don't lose big because of small things!

AboutCertificates of achievement are mailed in the mail

1.The certificate of achievement is the most powerful thing to prove your Japanese score, so be sure to keep it.

2.On the day of the test in the domestic test area, there will be mailing points around the test center, and the school will mail it to the address you fill in after the score certificate is issued, and you only need to fill in the information and make the payment.

3.Generally, there will be a lot of people queuing up after the test, so you can go early before the test.

If you forget to mail it but need a certificate, you can only wait for the certificate to be issued and go to the test school to collect it (some schools also support mailing, you can contact the school for details).

4.The score certificate of the Japanese test center is free of charge and will be sent directly to the address you reserved when you registered, and there is no need to send additional mail.

About checking scores

1.Generally, the results will be released in mid to early February, and you can go to the official website to check the results at that time, and enter the admission ticket number and ID number.

2.If you lose your admission ticket and don't remember the admission ticket number, you can check the admission ticket number on the result check page.

In addition to these preparations before the exam and the final Xi, you also need to maintain a good attitude, do not be overly nervous, but do not underestimate this exam, having a good attitude is the key to performing your level normally! Finally, I wish you all the best in the JLPT Japanese Language Proficiency Test in December
