In the process of manufacturing, construction, chemical and other industrial production, air compressor provides a stable power source for all kinds of pneumatic equipment, and is a key equipment to ensure the smooth progress of production. Therefore, it is crucial to monitor the operating status of the air compressor. Traditional monitoring methods often rely on manual inspections, which are inefficient and difficult to obtain comprehensive equipment information in real time.
Therefore, this paper proposes a remote monitoring scheme for air compressors based on XL80 communication host to improve monitoring efficiency, reduce production interruptions caused by equipment failures in the 2023 sprint competition, and improve production efficiency.
Equipment selection. The XL80 communication host is selected as the core equipment of the remote monitoring system to read the exhaust pressure, exhaust temperature, motor status, running time and other parameters of the air compressor.
Data can be read from multiple communication ports and protocol converted to multiple different devices, establishing efficient data communication between multiple devices.
It supports a variety of communication protocols, such as MQTT, SOAP, Modbus, etc., and can communicate with various devices and systems, providing users with the ability to seamlessly integrate in a variety of communication environments.
It supports LoRa, Wi-Fi, and 4G wireless communication, and the data transmission is not limited by wiring, and the deployment is flexible and fast.
Network layer. The XL80 communication host reads the operating parameters of the air compressor through the RS485 communication port. It can be connected to the LAN through Ethernet Wi-Fi and push data to the monitoring platformOr wirelessly transmit data to the XL90 gateway via LoRa, and send data to the monitoring platform via the XL90 gateway**.
Platform layer. Build an XLSCADA monitoring platform to monitor the operation data of the air compressor in real time
Visualized real-time monitoring: The operating status parameters such as exhaust pressure, exhaust temperature, and motor status of the air compressor can be intuitively displayed in the form of charts, so that users can grasp the operating status of the equipment at any time.
Remote access: Users can remotely access air compressor data anytime and anywhere through the XLSCADA monitoring platform, improving the convenience and flexibility of equipment management.
