On December 29, the second mediator appointment ceremony and mediator training conference of the International Commercial Mediation Center of Wuhan Arbitration Commission and Wuhan Arbitration and Mediation Promotion Association were held, and 71 mediators were awarded letters of appointment, adding new strength to the professional mediation team in Wuhan.
The relevant person in charge of the Wuhan Arbitration Commission said that the Wuhan Arbitration Commission adheres to and develops the "Fengqiao Experience" in the new era, actively responds to the national call for "litigation source governance", creates a new mechanism of "litigation + mediation + arbitration", builds a professional and international mediator team, builds a "fast lane" for multiple dispute resolution, and provides diversified, efficient and convenient conflict and dispute resolution services for the people. At present, a total of 1,433 dispute mediation applications with prior arbitration agreements have been accepted, and 1,010 mediation applications without prior arbitration agreement have been accepted, with a mediation success rate of 525%, the amount of successful mediation has exceeded 6.7 billion. Through the pre-litigation mediation appointed by the court, it also successfully accepted 1,879 mediation cases transferred by the court, involving an amount of more than 2 billion yuan, and the amount of successful mediation was about 3300 million yuan.
It is reported that among the 71 newly hired mediators, there are retired judges, lawyers, industry experts and corporate legal elites. At the meeting, 6 mediator representatives were awarded mediator certificates, and relevant experts were trained.
