Recently, the residential area of Changqiao Street, Xuhui District, carried out a DIY handmade activity of log wind chimes to guide everyone to take care of the garden corner of the community.
Before the event, bags of handmade materials were already prepared on the table. At the beginning of the activity, the instructor first carefully introduced the composition and production method of wind chimes to the children and parents step by step. With the assistance of parents and related personnel, the children excitedly experienced the first time in their lives - the first time to experience threading needles and threads, the first time to learn to tie knots, and the first time to make a beautiful wind chime with their own little hands.
Wood chips and hemp rope were turned over and over in the hands of the children, the prototype of the wind chimes was gradually revealed, and the melodious wind chimes began to sound in the classroom. During the whole process, everyone was enthusiastic and active. Although the children are new to DIY activities, with extraordinary creativity and hard work, they still make wind chimes with a personal color.
After the wind chimes were made, the teacher led everyone to paint the beautiful scenery of the community on the wind chimes, which not only added decoration to the wind chimes, but also expressed good wishes to the community. Their love for the community environment is also accompanied by the sound of wind chimes, melodiously spread to every corner of the community, infecting the old and young in the jurisdiction.
