Liang Guoyang, chairman of the Chinese Cultural Management Association, said that in recent years, with the continuous growth of the pet consumption market, the development of pet culture is closely related to the quality of life of residents, and occupies an increasingly important position in the construction of urban culture. This year's pet carnival hopes to use Shanghai, an international cultural metropolis, as a platform to spread the concept of China's pet culture construction and promote the high-quality development of China's pet industry.

Zheng Chang, vice president of the Pet Culture Professional Committee of the Chinese Cultural Management Association and secretary general of the pet carnival, said that this carnival will provide a communication service platform for the pet industry, aiming to create a sample of a harmonious urban environment for people and pets, so that pet friendliness can be truly implemented in the lives of citizens.

At the press conference, China's first specification applicable to shopping malls and other indoor pet-friendly places - "Code for the Operation and Management of Indoor Pet Display and Interactive Experience Venues in Commercial Places" was also released. The group standard is led by the Pet Culture Professional Committee of the Chinese Cultural Management Association, and jointly promoted by the Shanghai Pet Industry Association.

Next, the pet carnival will carry out a year-long series of rich activities, including the Bund BFC Fengjing Market, the west bank of Xuhui Binjiang River, the Senlan International Community in Pudong New Area, Songjiang University Town, Yangpu Binjiang Fuxing Island, and Quyang Road Street in Hongkou District. The Pet Culture Professional Committee of the Chinese Cultural Management Association will also jointly release the list of the most popular consumer goods series in this carnival with Jingdong Pet, Ele.me, China Net Commerce, and China Industrial Design and Research Institute.
