I have served as a special supervisor of the Provincial High Court for three consecutive terms and a special supervisor of the Supreme People's Court for two consecutive terms, and I have visited the Provincial High Court no less than four times a year. Through frequent visits and investigations to the work of courts at all levels, and looking at the whole country from the local level, I have witnessed the contributions made by the people's courts and people's judges to the construction of the rule of law in China. Recently, Zhang Jun, Secretary of the Party Group and President of the Supreme People's Court, led the Supreme People's Court research team to investigate and discuss with the Anhui Court, and Zhao Wanping, deputy to the National People's Congress and vice president of the Anhui Academy of Agricultural Sciences, was invited to participate in the symposium.

Zhao Wanping pointed out that the ecosystem is an organic whole, and the law enforcement and judicial work in the field of environmental resources must also establish a systematic concept and an overall concept to strengthen pluralistic and collaborative governance. Anhui has 800 miles of the Wanjiang River, the Huai River, the Xin'an River, and the 800 miles of Chaohu Lake, and in terms of ecological protection, the administrative organs and judicial departments have done a great deal of work and achieved remarkable results. However, the problem of pollution should not be underestimated, and some cases of violations and crimes in the field of environmental resources have the characteristics of wide scope of infringement, long duration, and strong professionalism. It is too costly and too slow to repair the ecological environment after it has been damaged, and it is particularly important to raise the awareness of the rule of law and environmental protection in the whole society.
Zhao Wanping suggested that courts at all levels should improve the professional level of environmental resources adjudication and efficiently protect the ecological environment and resources. In view of the problems discovered in the trial of environmental resources cases, judicial recommendations should be issued to the administrative organs in a timely manner, and the administrative organs should be urged to perform their duties in accordance with the law. According to the characteristics of different types of cases, scientific and effective methods should be adopted to do a good job in ecological restoration, and high-quality environmental justice services should be used to ensure the construction of a beautiful China.
